what happened to military base in djakovica? I served there long time ago. I heard its destroyed, and if so, who destroyed it?

the buildings are all half broken but i dont know what happened there i thought that it was destroyed by the war

The military base was recovered by serbs in 1995 after it has been abandoned by Yugoslavian army (don't know in what year) but during the war in Kosovo it was hit by NATO Air Forces. After NATO troops got in they used it as a military base for her troops (italian KFOR), but today it serves as a police administration.

What do you mean recovered in 95? I served there in 95. It was abandoned maybe 1998 or when the bombing started. BTW I'm from Serbia and before the war I served military in Djakovica just like everybody else did back then. Its Gjakova for you, but for me its Djakovica OK?
