  • If you think this isn't planned. Then wtf is B Diddy doing passing to Blake all the time when Blake points up top for an oop? Are those all mistake passes too? If so, B Diddy is the best at making mistake assist alley-oops this season.

  • Diop was such a joke

  • 100% a pass. Monta is one of the best finishers in the game. This was a perfectly placed pass to Baron who called for in on the break.

  • @thesickone9 and i'm LeBron James

  • DIOOOPP !!! lol

  • definately you see how high it was on the backboard and how prefectly placed it was from davis

  • wrong.

the shot was scraped by diop

and baron davis picked it up from there

monta didnt do that on purpose

  • naw, baron calls the play when they make eye contact, he points at the top of the backboard, ellis acknowledges, then goes into fake-attach mode, pulls both defenders, and gives a nice no-look oop to the trailer off the backboard. This is an OLD basketball play.

  • @littlebidee idiot. monta is one of the best finishers. if he was going for the shot it would have been blocked and he has great court vision. plus i was watching this when it was actually on tv so its not all pixelated

  • @littlebidee as you can see diop didn't even jump high enough to scrape and and davis signaled him at half court to alley-oop it and thats why he threw it so high and if diop would have scraped it the play would have been called goaltending

  • clearly...

  • Prob.... he had it pretty open, and that was a pretty bad miss; for a scorer.

  • nah,

at :04 he waves to him

  • nope

  • I am a blazers fan but i must say that the crowd over there in GS desrved 100 championships, great crowd, great people there in the Oracle Arena, I mean, blazers fans are crazy too but this one is like OMFG!!!!!

  • i know, a lot of us crazy warrior fans at the oracle. we love these guys. but when there's love there's heartbreak

  • why they trade that team away...davis...harrington..richardson..pietres

  • and now bellinelli its all good tho we dont need them this season is gonna be a good one

  • Diop missed a block, He just hit the backboard.

  • tHaT wUz AwEsOmE bUt NiCe TrY DiOp

  • Who gives a shit it was great!

  • Monta ellis,Jason richardson,Stephen Jackson,Al harrington,chris webber.

    Wouldnt that be awesome?

  • no not chris webber or al harrington thats why we traded them

  • this was the best GSW team ever.......... i miss this team!!

  • get some fuckin glasses

  • the angle of the ball changes, the spin of ball increases and u can hear the sound ball being hit hard against the backboard and diop's hand following through hitting the backboard.

  • lol look closer dumb fuck

  • ok just did, the angle of the ball changes, the spin of ball increases and u can hear the sound ball being hit hard against the backboard and diop's hand following through hitting the backboard.

  • diops hand definitely hit the back board but without contacting the ball

he swung but you see its about 3-6 inches short of the ball

if he blocked it it wouldnt have gone right where he was trying to put it

    to BD

  • stfu noob.

  • Haha that shot was blocked Marv you turkey, he threw it off the backboard.

  • check out my videos of sick dunks.....and 19 free throws in a minute

  • AHHH man B.D be gettin up. damn lol

  • i used to like gs

  • i know mann...but bd,and harrington are gone and monta ellis isn't gunna be able to do it by himself whenever he comes back.

  • dammm, i would do that on purpose too knowing that the warrior would be chasin me for the jam

  • i miss these guys.

  • shade dass er nicht mehr so gut spielt, er hätte letztes Jahr zu den ALLSTARS gehen müssen

  • if he took a normal layup it woulda been blocked. nice move

  • baron shouldve never left golden state...

  • Agreed! :(

  • @isaiahledz no, baron shouldve never signed with clippers...

  • Yuu

  • its a shame he didnt stay in the bay. the clippers should be way better

  • Yeah but the Clippers blow!

  • yea he did that on purpose, but a great display of teamwork- wow

  • oooohhh baby

  • now that's baron davis!

  • Clippers coach: "yea no dunking and no winning games, ok guys?"

  • Damn that was nice.

  • monta did that on purpose. in fact, monta has one of the highest scoring percentage in the league. and look at his eye direction before he threw the ball.

  • yeah he definently did that on purpose hes looking at Baron like th WHOLE time lol

  • ya bd pointed up and monta seen it so he through it hard off the glass...i only know that cause monta never misses layups that badly

  • its a pass coz davis points to the rim when he is running down the floor and then ellis puts it high of the glass.

  • im pretty sure it was a pass considering how consistent ellis is at making his layups. If he would have missed im pretty sure he would have at least hit the rim

  • baron davis is the best point guard in the game

  • so why clippers lose these days?

  • my ass

  • it was a pass

  • ahhh it was a missed lay-up. who are we kidding? =)

  • that was a pass, he lookes at Baron cross court before he let it off the glass...nice pass and even better finish

  • if it was me and I happened to miss the lay up, I'd pretend it was a pass and I meant to do it.

  • That's what I was wondering, knowing Ellis' court awareness you think that was a pass? If Jason Kidd did that EXACT same play, he would have been credited with an assist.

  • It coulda been a pass, judging by NBA players skill level, its not out of the ordinary to do something like that. Its just (by the video) Baron doesn't seem to acknowlege Ellis with a "nice dime" or nothing. So it just makes me wonder if Baron even thought it was a pass or did he think he got the put back dunk. I've had cats pass it to me off the backboard on a 2 on 1 fast break but they always noted that they passed it and it wasn't a missed layup, probably just to save face, who knows.

  • i love how he just walks back as the mavs break out...

    i love baron davis

  • does it count as a shot for the other guy then???

  • no baron touched ball last

  • would that be an assists for monta, or a missed shot for monta and a rebound for baron?

  • gud question but i dont kno?

  • technicaly it's a missed shot

  • it looked like that was planned cuz you see the way he looks at baron davis before the lay-up...

if it was... mad props... sick vid...

    BD is sick

  • they dont even call travels unless you're doing a post up or if you shuffle you're feet without trying to shoot it I see every one take 3 steps on a fast break the refs wont call those

  • wow seriously? u CAN take 3 steps without a travel idiots! its college and AAU that is only 2!!!

  • shut the fuck up you don't know anything about basketball 3 steps is always a travel but it isn't always called

  • Technically its 3 u bitch ass (itachi) cuz a 1/2 step is allowed while picking up the dribble , and not only that, but the refs are told by nba commisioner and rule book to take a "1... 2... count" while walking w/out a dribble which allows time for a third dribble

  • ur retarded he didn't travel...you probably don't even play basketball so stfu

  • To:fgarcia20

No it's not called traveling unless you take 3 steps during a layup...

in this case it was a layup so he drove to the basket

    ....

    WARRIORS ROCK

    BD!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wtf theres he only takes 2 steps

    dumb ass

  • why you so mean he was just wondering fagget ass

  • You idiot it doesn't have to touch the rim

  • Where the fuck do you play basketball? "the ball aint touch the rim" LMAO.. DUMBASS

  • probably India

  • loser lol. your so dumb!

  • seriously, I wish he would come play basketball with me, so when he calls traveling on something like that... lol everyone will just laugh and make him cry

  • ballin!

  • That would of been hot if he rotated a little bit more for a 360 but that was hot, I don't know if that was planned but hey nice play.

  • that was a pass all the way

  • U should fight if your a warriors fan then good help support the bay! WARRIORS ROCK

  • they got rocked out the play offs...LOL

  • why do nonathletic people always call travel?

  • Wow you are assuming I'm not athletic from a 6 letter comment... Why waste your time and disagree? Does that make you feel good? Loser

  • But it wasnt a travel - technically he was still dribbling on the first step. Ie didnt have the ball in a controlled position.

Watch LeBron, he does it alot I've noticed.

  • Man, if J-Rich wasn't traded then Monta's talent won't give Oakland fans his showcase of speed and athleticism.

  • baron is amazing. he's only 6'3.

  • Baron raises his arm and gives a signal to Ellis as they're running down. He and Ellis make eye-contact with each other. Trust me, Monta Ellis isn't stupid enough to try to lay-it up on two people on a fast break when he has a teammate running with him, especially Baron Davis.

  • that did look more like a pass than a layup attempt

  • yea that was a pass. montas one of the best finishers in the league he wouldnt miss that bad. he drew both defenders and knew baron was there

  • Actually he did mean to pass it. Look at his eye contact with Baron as he runs down the lane. Hes a pro. He wouldnt have missed that bad if he intentionally tried to score.

  • What eye contact? I've never seen someone do a semi-windmill lay-up for a perfect pass to a 6'0" PG. Monta is an outstanding finisher but he didn't pass it, it was just a hard shot.

  • Sorry 6'3" but it doesn't matter cause he's still way to short for that kind of oop

  • LOOK AT :03 baron D callas for it..

  • wrong idiot!

  • Well he did dunk it incase you're blind

  • no offense dude, but thats the warriors, they did that crap all last year with jrich..

  • Thats why they're having a much better season this year?

  • im not saying jrich was your top player, im saying most of that tricky allyoop shit was because jrich is like the best for allyoops and there kinda used to lobbing/looking for alleyoops

  • he raises his arm and points at the backboard

  • Yall are IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anywayz great off the backboard allyoop by mista ellis to teh great baron davis

  • im ready to see the warriors prove last years playoffs weren't a fluke when they get matched up with the mavs again this year go DUBS!

  • wow that was a great play, i love monta ellis, he's so unselfish

  • look everyone, give baron davis props, cus u all think hes dunking like tat cus hes in a forward position, hes actually a guard who DUNKS n probably top 15 leading blocks i dare say

  • yeh too bad, he is fun to watch, in my opinion baron is the best (offensive) point guard in the NBA because of his shots, handles, and sick dunks. he just got to stay healty

  • Hahaha and your right!

  • yeah

  • ? saw on wikipedia, haha

zip it doosh...he is the $hit....search on google, haha, try watching some game d-bag

  • baron davis in the postseason he averages more points and more assists than anyone in NBA history.

oh if you think making a layup is easy on a fast break go to your court now and try it a couple of times with a defender right next to you, i bet you miss all of them cause if you think its easy, you must have never done it before

  • i highly doubt that.. lol i'm a warrior fan, but i can assure you Jordan has gotta be atleast 10pts over Baron Playoff average..

  • are you retarded?

  • Baron Davis might just be the greatest scorer of all time.

  • come on man..your just saying that after you saw the clip. baron davis is good maybe even great but greatest scorer of all time?

  • that is what u call team work in beating the harder team

  • thats fckin perfection :D

  • view my baron davis vid

  • was that suppose to happen...?....

  • this is my favorite team nowadays, you can make a solid team without spending a lot of millions like celtics or heat, but no disrespect

  • I LOVE this team!!

  • thats definatly a pass, ellis is a great finisher and wouldnt biff a layup like that, great play all around

  • what pose??

  • obviously, baron puts his hand up which in may cases implies an alley-oop. from that angle i can't tell if diop got a piece of it which made the ball hit high off the glass. also, the presence of diop might have been enough to simply make ellis miss the lay up. or maybe ellis did see baron the whole way and planned an amazing pass. honestly it is impossible to tell

  • yup, its true!

  • wat travel???

  • it looks like that, but upon further inspection, why did ellis put it up so high off the board, he scooped it, you want a scoop to hit low if you wanna score, float it - sure put it high..this looks like an oop to me

  • its not easy makin a layup wit two defenders in ur face

  • It's still not that easy. When you are running full speed down the court, there is something called inertia. the Ball still has forward momentum, so even if it would've gone in normally, it bounces hard off the backboard and in some cases misses the rim entirely.

When you scoop the ball, you are pushing it up. In a normal layup, gravity bring it down in time. But with the added speed, it is harder to control the ball. 2 defenders in your face don't help either.

  • lol you're pretty dumb

  • u ever seen ellis finish at the rim? even with diop there if he was attempting the shot shot he woulda hit rim and not shot it so hard..

  • Baron Davis is a good player but he aint no better than Steve Nash

  • Yeah you're right. Too bad Steve Nash got PWNED when the Warriors beat the Suns in their own running game this season. Post him up Baron! Post up that weak scrawny Steve Nash!

  • Baron DAVIS is the BEST Pg in the NBA shyt man look ow good GOLDEN STATE is and its all BARON DAVIS good skills and leadership...but man if DAVIS went to the SUNS cuz the golden state play a similiar OFFENSE suns would win a CHAMPIONSHIP guereenteed...***(BARON DAVIS for OLD STEVE NASH)***

  • If baron davis was on a team like the lakers or pistons he would be considered one of the best!!!

    Go Baron Davis!!!

  • Baron Rocks the Rim!!!!!!

  • He's one of my favs since he's in Hornets

  • evry time warriors score i go nuts lol.

  • wow

  • aha the announcer was speechless at first.

"barnes with the save, ellis takes all the way, diop with the...block the...but davis is right there!!"

    LOL

  • that was freaken tight

  • wait, danismadchill, you play in the nba, right? ignorant people...

  • Damn, Baron can get up! Awesome dunk!

  • i doubt the guy saw baron call, cus he would have just passed it instead of going by two guys. but good play

  • First i thought he just missed the lay up and was lucky Baron Davis was behind him, but after i watched it the second time i saw Baron Davis call for the ball. Very nice vid!

And nice team work by the Warriors!

  • yeahhhh b diddy!!! WARRIORS!!!!!

  • I got hyped when that happened!!!!

  • The guy who makes the pass off the board travels when he first catches the ball on the sidelines... He takes a few steps, in a run so it's never called, before, that's right BEFORE, he dribbles once... That used to be travelling in my day and they used to call it. Watch my video "The art of dunking"

  • your retarted it was 2 steps

  • yes, it was two steps BEFORE he dribbled ONCE... He catches the ball, WALKS, then starts dribbling... In my day you had to dribble that ball on your first step or they'd call it! Now after he's dribbled he can stop dribbling and take TWO STEPS, but not before he ever dribbles!

  • no that is not true...if you catch the ball on the move then you dont have to dribble but for only 2 steps, then you have to put the ball down and dribble then you can take another two steps once you pick the ball up

but that only applies if the player, in this case Ellis, is running or moving fast

so it is a clean putback dunk by Baron Davis

  • define "fast".... It was never an issue of speed in my day- you had to dribble on that first step... it didn't matter if you stepped quickly or not... I miss the old days when people knew what travelling was and the NBA refs called it!

  • did you watch my video?
