  • Her make-up, her 'hair', her hat, her clothes: if I hadn't seen this I wouldn't have believed anyone could appear in public like this unless it was a clown in a big tent. As for the father....

  • @antimasonification I am fat, 63, and very intelligent. You, on the other hand, are rude, unpleasant and juvenile. People have a right to comment so long as they do so with some decorum.

  • My Dad and my sister, Melody used to sing this song together back in the 70\80's...They were amazing harmonizers. R.I.P Dad & Sis. I miss you both, daily.

  • This song sure brings back a lot of memories...

  • Fantastic singers. He has one of the best voices as a backup if that's what you would call it. He reminds me of Buc Rambo of the Rambos. Buc's voice blends so well with Dottie and Reba.

  • I was Country, when Country was Cool !

  • Love it! I miss this great music!

  • I love this!

  • They were great for sure Great sound.

  • They were not a one hit wonder! They had several hits and stopped performing because they didn't like the lifestyle. Not because they weren't in demand.

  • @boston12111 They were on the scene for 10 years 77 - 87

  • Huh...Royce is singing a higher harmony than I thought. On the Dutch concert video I hear someone growling away in the bass, and I thought that was Royce. Love this, it's one of my favorite country songs from when I was growing up.

  • One of the best songs I ever heard, can't get enough of this fine music.

  • wow, this song brings back a lot of memories,it was mine and my cousin and best friend Sissys song, who is gone now:( its funny how certain songs can trigger a memory. May You Rest In Peace My Friend Sissy.

  • I have always loved this song even though The Kendalls were a one-hit wonder

  • Sure hope their not singing to each other. Their Father and Daughter. ;-)

  • @01circusboy Someone always has some off the wall remark! Go back to the gutter you crawled out of...

  • @jus14daroad Did you really think I thought there might be some sort of incest going on between them? If so your an idiot! It was just a joke.

  • Love this song.

  • The Kendalls had the best CHEATING SONGS of all time!!!!

  • We were so lucky to have had a childhood during that time. Today's music blows!

  • @PiscesMr41 I agree. That's so funny because I was just thinking how great those times were and to have witnessed these beautiful songs in that moment in history, then I read YOUR comment, : -). Glad you enjoyed it and had that experience also, just wish everyone could have, but I suppose others will have equal valued memories during different periods of time.

    e.

  • Notice how the love song is just like the hit song that played, no lip sync here. Should put all performer's to shame!!

  • My Mama LOVED this song-I was born in 1970 so I vaguely remember it and I still love it!!

  • Heck I have the 45 rpm....I'm thinking it is worn out by now! :) Great tune and the harmonizing...I love it.

  • Great song, great performance!

  • I love her voice. I want to hear and see what she looks likes now.

  • She's wonderful and he sings very well

  • The store where I worked played country music all the time. I guess you could say I enjoyed going to work each day to hear the music all day. I can say I did get a little tired of hearing this song and a few others because they were played so often. But now I enjoy hearing it once again. Thank you for posting.

  • Hi,a class duet, over 30 years ago,wow ,makes you wonder even more how they can call some of the awful music that is on the tv today Country music!!!

    Thanks for sharing

  • Demand your local country radio station play this song today~

  • This sticks in my mind and I wake up in the morning with it playing in my head.

  • @karennorwegian same here, i dreamed that i was going to heaven but i was stopped by Satan but i was saved by God and i made it to heaven peacefully, and when i got there the song was playing.

  • Love this song.. I rem I use to sing it and sing It and sing it... I use to love to sing this song... love this song ..

  • My daddy thinks she looks like a possum...

  • @Bbatsonjohn yeah?

  • There's nothing creepy about this.

  • Honesty.. I love these songs!

  • She is a younger version of her dad's face.

  • i wish i could go back to the 80 and early 90's again

  • My uncle got drunk and said he had sex with Jeannie Kendall.

  • @geoffck6969 you are a moron

  • RIP Royce.. Great music.. Love it. Thanks for posting.

  • I think it's a great video with 2 great talents. Where does PERVE come into any of this? Jees.

  • Sweet and uplifting. :o)

  • "oh way deep down I know it's all wrong" 1:14 yes incest is very wrong!!! LOL LOL.

I know it's just a father and daughter singing together but man this song is just way to pervy for a father daughter to sing together.

  • @TheRealRussG you think that way all the time you well never understand good music. They were great singers and plyed wat people wanted to here.

  • @5Nanuk . dude I know good music, and really these two aren't bad but they're not that great. if not for the humor of hearing a father and dauther singing about sin and sexual innuendo, they wouldn't have half the fame they do now. If you can't see the humor in the irony, then I think you're trying to hard to come off as a music buff or a goody goody. just enjoy the song and laugh at the irony

  • @TheRealRussG Well, "dude," most people weren't thinking that way about them back then. The Kendalls recorded what their producers recommended. It's no different than hearing a 16 year old Peter Noone in Hermans Hermits singing about grown-up, sexual things. Sexuality in music was toned down in comparison to modern times, where you see manufactured karaoke singers dancing to poorly written songs while wearing lingerie. Don't get me wrong, sex is something good, it's been around forever.

  • @hectorsalinasisback what makes this odd is that it's father and daughter ... music has and will always have sex mixed with it ... but would you sing this song with your mom??? and yeah people were laughing at this song back in the 70's due to the father daughter issue. It's part of what made the song a hit ... like it or not, they're not over the top great singers, if they were you would have heard a lot more from them on main stream radio in the 70's and 80's anything past the 80's

  • Creepy .

  • @gotravgo Not hardly. They were a father and daughter that worked very well together. That's all.

  • this is before my time but i love this song

  • Highly memorable song performed by a wonderful father/daughter team. A real pleasure to listen to. Thanks SO much for posting this!

  • lovely and divine...thank you.....
