Dude u forgot about TACP. I def give the PJ's , combat controllers and TACP guys some hella respect. Their training is tough as nails. Wasn't too long ago I read in the paper a Combat Controller and the Army Squad he was embedded with got ambushed and he was the only one left shooting. He was able to hold off the attackers long enough for air support and medi-vac. He saved some lives and I believe he got a medal from that as well.

Trashjack101 is correct and 7instinct is wrong. This is NOT Special Forces.  These are SOF, or Special Operations Forces, of which SF is a part of, as well as Rangers, MARSOC, AFSOC, etc. Generally these are sometimes called special forces (lower case)

Special Forces refers to one unit only, and that is Special Forces Command (under USASOC, which is under SOCOM). These are the same as what some people call "The Green Berets."
