what actually is "Sekai Days"?

I've read on the School Days wikipedia page that its a novel written by Tome Okada released in november 2005?(along with kotonoha days in dec). Is that novel in japanese? and how did this video come about?

Sekai Days the novel is a novel of sekai during the events of the game school days.

For here... this is just a 2008 APRIL 1st "hint hint" video release by overflow

Actually theres 4 novels written, one, sekai, one kotonoha side and 2 other. I only seen sekai and kotonoha side in fan chinese translated. So yeah all 4 are not out of country, only in japanese.

Manga was fan translated. English I believe is available. its a short 12 chapter story. the other 2 official manga with adult elements are unknow to me , nv seen it .

I don't get why everybody hates Sekai. She's the only one that acts like a normal 10th grade girl. She has trouble expressing her feelings so she uses another girl... it's Makoto who is the (medically, I mean he's an archetypal case) sociopathic sex addict and Kotonoha who needs some serious counselling.

All 3 of the characters are flawed and far from normal. Sekai just seems to get more hate then Kotonoha since Sekai despite being more mentally sound then Kotonoha was fine with leaving Kotonoha to suffer emotionally.

Then their is the manga where Sekai kills Kotonoha, and the various game endings where Sekai can become rather unpleasant. Kotonoha isn't safe in the games either though.
