lets look at the weapons. shor range: it's undebatable which weapon was better. meddium range: the Aztecs got the edge, but I think that thrusting weapons are better in one on one combat. Long range: from a distance over 10 feet the the atlatil was better however if it was closer than I would go with the kapinga. special weapons. the sling wasn't really a lethal weapon, but the pima bow and arrow would be a kill with a headshot. Overall the Zande had better weapons.

aztec wouldve won because that was the poorest representation of weapons they had in this battle they had spear bow and arrows that shot gold silver poisoned an flaming arrows,clubs,and axes that were copper and granite.an blow guns lol.ive also read that the azande didnt even create those weapons on the show they to did not have metal forgery.

BULLSHIT Aztecas had disadvantage of newer technology in weapons. The zande were earlier on. If they were same year Aztecas would have better weapons-they woud fucking slaughter the zande and use them as sacrifice. Aztecas had much better skill just older weapons!!!!!

@Evision5 I mean on the times of themselves. (Aztec and Zande) The Spartans were in the times where they already had Iron weaponry like the Ninjas...so it was a more fair fight. Aztecs fought with wooden clubs as for Zande they had Iron weapons. Get it?

The Aztec Empire never had its chance to discover this, because of the Spanish plague...

@Tezcatlipoca0047 I highly agree with you with the aztec vs zande point and i never had a problem with what you said about that but what you said about the spartans. you were partially right they do use some bronze weapons how ever all their armor was leather or bronze and the only iron weapons they had were the tip of the spear and blade of their gladious which they only used if they lost their spear or were very close and their lines broke which rarely happend.
