  • You call this a video game/art project. Please explain what constitutes the game part. Thank you.

  • @Shmupper just the idea that all interactive media has been shoehorned into a "video game", most likely.

  • does anyone where to buy this game??

  • This reminds me of the film Begotten.

  • This, is what happens when you have been stuck in the middle of the baron forest at 12 AM with nothing but acid and heroin

  • Did this ever get released?

  • @Klaymator14

No. It sorta just dropped of the face of the earth.

I really hope it'll see release, but I doubt it.

  • what the hell is this....blair which 4

  • When it comes to video games, anything out of the ordinary and off the formula is good. It's no guarantee that it would sell well, but a decent number of people would be glad to own it.

It's a beautiful and original piece of work from what I can see.

  • I think the people getting high are supposed to be playing the real game. -_-

  • sure...it is interactive...but where is the entertainment part?

Potential for expression? More like potential for boring the crap out of people.

I suppose it is an ongoing project that will gradually take shape...

  • @whateverman187 And what the hell`s wrong with your dumb-self, so what, this game DOESNT HAVE ENTERTAINMENT, that doesnt mean all games has to have action and all that.

  • @Norakeybladehero71 Heh...no need to get offensive. Entertainment can come in many forms, I agree, it doesn't have to be "action and all that". But IMO it needs to be highly interactive and clear as to what it is you are supposed to be doing/ experiencing/ learning.

In other words: if the interactivity is low and the purpose is too vague, a lot of people will lose interest very fast no matter how "arty-farty-awesome-artistic- expression" the whole thing is.

  • @whateverman187 Hmm... I guess you`re right on that point of view, now that i see it, i appollogize from getting angry on what you`ve said. :D

  • @Norakeybladehero71 It's alright :)

Anyway, what do you see in "The Night Journey" (potential)?

  • Ale jaki jest cel tej gry? I czy to jest GRA?

  • Haunting... The potential here for expression of a truly deep work of art through gameplay is at once inspiring, thought provoking and powerful.

Joseph Campbell once said that "Myths are public dreams, and dreams are private myths."

The line between dream and myth, narrative and personal experience, truly begins to blur.

To all the people at GIL, you have my thanks for this.

  • Looks like a dream or something.

    It's got enough potential though.

  • So what is it you actually do? Looks diffrent and pretty I think I'll buy it along with Linger in the shadows (have no idea what you do it that "game" ether)

  • I bet at the end of the game, the character wakes up!

  • where can i get this game. is for the ps3.

  • fa cagare sto gioco

  • love the concept , i would like to know if there is a kind of platos cave that can be experienced in the supersensable world , like a magic eye picture but computer generated or some similar attempt

  • ..but..but..where are the explosions, the ammo, the mayhem?? I think MOH has really lost it with this one.

Seriously now, it's good to see this but is there a market for it? I hope so!?

A worthy idea. Thanks to 'nameofthepen' for sharing.

  • "I'm ready for my dimensional shift now, Mr. DeMille." LOL

Looks fantastic! Thanks neothomist1275 for sharing it. 5*s

  • Very dreamy. Amazing potential here.
