Makes perfectly good sense to take one the cheapest food sources, and turn it into fuel, yeah right. These guy's never ever think things out! It's always short term planning! What happens when farmer's stop growing wheat? What happens when all the corn is converted into ethanol? What will the cost of beef, and pork, after it becomes more difficult to gain access to cheap corn?

Biden, Obama and Richardson are good for Black America. Black women should be dumb if they don't know that electing a white woman with an itchy-dick husband only means having black women in bikinis flood the white house when madam president is not away.

Imagine somebody pumping their SUV full of ethanol while poor people go hungry because of corn shortages. That isn't a very good image, but it is likely to become reality if we anchor ourselves on ethanol production as the sole solution to our energy crisis.

Ethanol is no where near as efficient as gasoline. In fact, producing it not only creates more greenhouse gas emissions, but it also consumes corn that would otherwise have been good eating for animals, and even people. Ethanol is a bad fix, and only a temporary one at that. I hope that it does not result in famine.

I'm all for renewalbe energy, but I don't think we should continue to subsidize ethanol. It has proven to be a grossly inefficient technology--more energy is used in the production and transport of ethanol than is gained by its use as a fuel--it's a net loss. So, I'm glad Biden is emphasizing other alternatives. The intention is right, but we need to focus on the best technologies available.

yeah I thought it was my computer--I want to hear what he has to say please fix it soon. I saw biden on papanolpoleus (spelling haha) the other night for the first time and was impressed. It impresses me even farther that he is personally responding to people here on youtube whereas I don't believe any of the other are (have not checked them all). It says volumes without saying a word.
