I've never played world of warcraft. What happens if your internet shuts down while you're in the middle of a dangerous area? Can someone kill you or does it log you off so you can't die?

If your internet shuts down while you're in a dangerous area or even a mob is already attacking your character will stay in the world for 20seconds. Then it will automaticaly log of.

Maybe your character will die in this 20seconds maybe not. Depends on your level, class, hp, level of mob etc. When you log back in, you'll have to walk in ghost form back to your dead corps or if you didn't die you'll just spawn on the place you were before your internet shut down.
