  • Ha ha thugs got beat up by a GIRL! LOL Ya, Batgirl is hot and all but Julie Newmar as Catwoman is my catnip! ;)

  • Dam Yvonne Craig she oozed sex what a hooooot hunk of women. Absolutly killer body. She always had me drooling. i was her biggest fan. She didnt have 2 act all she had 2 do was stand there. She had such a sexy face 2 go with killer body & the sexiest legs of any women on the planet

  • yvonne craig was 1 of the sexiest women ever on tv & movies. she had me horny with hot legs hips & ass. she was & still was so hot. She was married 2 Jimmy Boyd r u kidding me ? why ? total mis match what the hell did she c in that goofy geek ? how did that clown survive in show business he was a bad joke

  • I Love the way that her skirt becomes her cape !

  • Classic! I love it!

  • was it okay to flirt with your father in the 60s

  • I guess the obvious question is when was this to have aired? Was it going to be its own stand alone series after Batman's second season? Because in Season 3, the Batgirl character was introduced to Batman and Bruce Wayne, so they "both" knew who Barbara Gordon and Batgirl was.

Yvonne Craig is just a few months shy of 75! A true icon!

  • second nothing! she was hotter than cat woman! ;-)

  • Succulent Yvonne Craig as Batgirl rates a very, very close second to the magnificent Julie Newmar as The Catwoman in the best-ever costumed female stakes .... but strictly only by a (cat's) whisker .. & all other contenders pale into no-contest insignificance, than & now ..

  • It would b great to see a clip of when Alfred the butler dressed in Batman's gear, from a past episode, does anyone remember that, I do?

  • Interesting. It would have been interesting if the series had been made.

  • deffinetly the hottest superheroine on tv or film of all time, and that includes wonder woman buffy dark angel or any charlies angels, yvonne craig holy hardons.

  • They don't make them like this anymore. Why were programmes so much better back in the sixties? Why did'nt they make a theatrical movie out of this series?

The Chris Nolan Batman movies are not as funny as the Batman sixties series.

They seem set in a more realistic world . The humour is thin . Darker.

I hope Hollywood does an independent Batgirl movie one day . : )

  • This was the ONLY time Batgirl won a fight on her own--didn't happen in the series.

Producers were probably afraid it would turn off viewers to see a WOMAN outbest a man. Sad.

  • OMG! It's the MONARCH'S henchmen!

  • Dynamic Ménage à trois. But if she doesn't "reveal" her "secret" identity then they can't become genuine partners. She's hot.

  • @kgmaj, she is a comissioners daughter, its daddys money lol

  • Season 3 was my favorite as a kid. I liked the background music and love Barbara Gordon's apartment, although how her character was able to do that on a librarian's salary...A different economy? Or while she was away at college she was secretly married to a millionaire and got a huge divorce settlement...

  • Yvonne Craig what a honey !!

  • @brett19661 I think she was my favorite character because I hated Adam West and still do! Hes such an ass!

  • Rare, but not unaired.

  • Batgirl was stupid it ruined the show!

  • @Mike8291 no it didnt. they were following the comic books honey. its how the plot goes.

  • @Alleykatt500 Turns out the producer of the show, William Dozier, asked Julius Schwartz at DC to create Batgirl so he could include her in the show. Not sure how much input Dozier had beyond that, but she wouldn't have existed in the comics without that request. (The series was a HUGE boost to the comic readership at the time.)

  • Oh I love it I love it I love it Sixties Style blue tights Yvonne Craig Yum.

  • I'm glad they changed the mask. It had a "Huntress" look to it, but wasn't very flattering. The red hair attached to the back was clever, though--Bats will now be looking for redheads--as will Gotham criminals. :)

How exactly did Barbara Gordon get that secret dressing room and sliding door installed without drawing any attention? And on a librarian's salary? She's been snuffing drug dealers for their money, like Hit Girl.

  • she can guard me anytime!

  • I love how batman and batgirl are fraternizeing while robins getting his ass kicked....lol........

  • @phoenixondope That was kind of amusing. I wondered if anyone else noticed it...

Batman's hitting on the new spandex-suited hot chick while his faithful ward is having his teeth loosened by blue-suited dorks in t.v.-antenna hats.

If I were Robin, I'd have a talk with him on the ride back to the Batcave...

  • Is that other guy William Dozier the producer of the show?

  • Yeah, Batgirl could've had a show, if they had moved forward w/it, I would've watched it.

  • Batgirl was an attempt to bump already waning ratings. It worked for me. They became my favorite episodes as a kid.

I was really bummed when Julie Newmar stopped playing Catwoman though. Hated Eartha Kitt's version.

I noticed they redid Batgirl's mask in the actual production version. Good thing, this one covered too much of her face.

  • I don't think BG brought down the series, but I do think it went downhill once the producers realized it was going to cancelled, especially the shows after the Londonium three-parter.

  • I voted LIKE only b/c I never saw this before & appreciate the upload!

But feel the entrance of BG was the beginning to the end of the series (that plus the low budgets in season #3).
