I have a sincere question to ask (for Muslims only). If Islam is "THE WAY" why are Christian nations less torn up by war? Shouldn't God be watching over is favourite peeps? I don't mean to sound rude. I'm curious.

@infectedcalf You are right to be curious. Before, the Muslims were one Empire stretching from Spain into France and knocking on China in the East. That was when the leaders of Islam followed the Qu'ran and Shariah completely. Since then the Muslims have become dived into different nations. God is watching over everyone and he does care about the believers but, the truth is, the Muslims in general are not following Islam completely now a days. If they were we would still be one nation.

The problem is they don't know, and some of them don't want to know. Some are in denial while others take what they are told by their parents and don't want to change, but we have to help them know. We have to do what we can through dawah, even simply using youtube to post comments and teach the non-Muslims. Anything we can do brothers and sisters is helpful, and may Allah give us Jannah Ameen.

The nasheed is based on a hadith which tells how the Prophet (saws) was helping an old woman through the desert with her load. Along the way, not realizing, she kept telling Muhammad (saws) not to mention the Prophet (saws) as she didnt like what she had heard of him.

At the end of their journey Muhammad (saws) said goodbye & walked away. The old woman called him back to ask his name. He told her who he was and realizing how wrong she was about him she converted to Islam immediately. Masha Allah

Allah swt says of the kuffar at Makkah

"And their worship at the (holy) House is naught but whistling and handclapping." 8:35

I don't think this necessarily makes it haram for muslims especially in appreciation of a nasheed, but probably best avoided. I think there is a hadith about it too which makes it disliked but not haram. Clapping during salat is fine for women to bring the Imam's attention to something also.

Masha'Allah now i understand the meaning behind this Nasheed. It relates of the old lady the prophet Muhammad SAW was assisting so kindly and she had no clue who he was as she backbit him. She later wondered at the man's generousity and asked for his name. its a story about a old women who was leaving madinah when the prophet (saw) migrated. on her way she met the prophet and didnt know. the prophet showed hes great character and helped her with her lugage. trough out the whole road she was slandering him and he didnt say anything. and at the end when he told her who he was she became a muslim.
