Norwegian Forest Cat fun

I have a cat identical to yours. It had been abandoned on the street as a kitten, could barely stand up, full of fleas, and starving. We took it in and looked after it. Her fur started getting rather long and it developed a very bushy tail. She is a strong, very good hunter, but loves human affection, and will always flop herself on your lap, often on her back. She also has quite a soft, yet high pitched voice. Can I send you a photo and see what you think?

@PossessedDonutz You have good taste in cats. Maine Coons are the biggest nastiest looking wild things... whereas Norwegians are very pretty with their smiley little faces :o)

Beautiful cat! I'm looking to get one, but thus far, all the breeders here in the U.S. I have looked into, want you to sign contracts that you will never let the cat outside. They refuse to sell a kitten to someone who lets their cats outside. So ... be glad you are in the UK. Your kitten looks so happy outside in the garden. Cats should get to go out in the fresh air, walk through the garden, and bounce about in the flower beds. It's part of being being a cat.

I had an all white green eyed norwegian forest cat named Gina. I love her so much, but she passed away about 2 years ago now. She looked exactly like the cat at around 46 seconds into the video. I know she can never be replaced but I would love to have another one, white with green eyes. thank you for the video.

Beautiful cats. Mines a cross between this and both, from what my eye can make out any way, she's very similar to both, but watching this, she seems to have Norwegian Forest cat in her more dominantly. Beautiful cats, I love how you made this video, very well done, you've done those incredible cats justice, well done.

His tail is amazing! Mine is either (part) Norwegian Forest Cat or Maine Coon. He looks just like one of them, and he is large. His tail is not that gorgeous, though. It is very hot where we live, so his coat is probably not all it could be. But he is the sweetest, most beautiful cat in the world, to me! Love this breed:)

I agree! The larger Maine Coons look more like some of the 'big cats', very noble and regal looking, and the Norwegian Forest breed is simply breathtaking!

And you have four of them...They are so very lovely!... also very intelligent and loving companions...Cats are such beautiful creatures, enriching our lives!

@hamish1998 I'd add Turkish Angoras to the list too. Just something luxurious about the long-haired cats....except persians. They look like normal cats who ran into a brick walls. I'll pass on the pug-cats.

@oneone1onezero0 Yes, agreed. And how could I forget Turkish Vans? I had the most beautiful Turkish Van (or rather, she had me), years ago. White, with big blue-grey polka-dots (well, that's what they looked like!) and rings on her tail. To me, these breeds look wild and otherworldly. And their temperaments are beautiful. (Never met a cat I couldn't love, but Persians have often been bred to extremes.)

Brilliant... There's just too many simple slidshows showing stills these days. Your video is displaying your cats very well, and it almost feels like I know them after watching your video, You show the cats in various activities at different times using good camera angles and capturing your cats true spirit. Also you do very good work using the soundtrack to full effect. Very well performed. And your cats are beautyfull!

Your cats are so beautiful! I have only found out my cat was a Wegie. I saved him when he was very young from my boyfriends factory. Apparently Wild Cats lived in the area so I assumed he was a bitza. Now I just love this breed.

I've got only two long haired cats...the earlier part of the video is from when I visited the breeder to collect Biggles...but yeah even with two cats you really need to vacuum the house twice a week. A small price I feel.
