P.S. The US was winning that war when he left it.

My 7th grade English teacher once when she taught elementary school made a picture book and send it out to him, and I can still remember crying when reading this...... Her husband once was in the Navy and same with my dad so this song means a lot to us that somebody cares about our nations protecters. every time i hear this song I cry.......

Not many people with that character these days. And to think I had something to do with this young man. A true blessing in my life. Bring him home. Semper Fi ~ Marine Mom

  • we sang this every sunday in basic...we all cried then, and it got a little worse through the years. unfortunately, not every mother gets to hold their child upon return....it takes seconds to say a short prayer for the safe return of the men and women serving, and for the families of those lost...is a prayer worth a good night's sleep to you?

We are so proud of him and his willingness to serve our country during this time of unrest. We need to lift up all our men and women in the Armed Forces in prayer and be thankful for their service and sacrifice. What a special group of young people they are! May God keep them safe.
