What is even funnier is in Mario vs Donkey Kong for the GBA Donkey Kong pilots a giant robot as the true final boss and it attacks similar to how he attacked in his giant form. He is even defeated the same way.

Donkey Kong makes a better boss than Bowser does. Here's how:

Donkey Kong tries to own you by either tossing barrels and other types of garbage, or he'll try to punch you out with his fists. Although it could have been better to have some underlings, Donkey Kong always fights alone with very little help.

Bowser, however, mostly uses fire to try and cook you, and he also depends on his minions to get you most of the time.
