  • walk in free at the start of dazed, and get a part in the movie too.... those kids are legends!

  • Jimmy Page is magic... I am completely mesmerized by Jimmy in this whole movie!

  • Robert Plant is an excellent singer, musician, character, and great horseman!

  • Happy Thanksgiving Pie.. "The Rain Song" This is the springtime of my loving - the second season I am to know You are the sunlight in my growing - so little warmth I've felt before. It isn't hard to feel me glowing - I watched the fire that grew so low. It is the summer of my smiles - flee from me Keepers of the Gloom. Speak to me only with your eyes. It is to you I give this tune. Ain't so hard to recognize - These things are clear to all from time to time.
  • Talk Talk - I've felt the coldness of my winter

I never thought it would ever go. I cursed the gloom that set upon us...

But I know that I love you so

These are the seasons of emotion and like the winds they rise and fall

This is the wonder of devotion - I see the torch we all must hold.

This is the mystery of the quotient - Upon us all a little rain must fall.

I hope you and yours are well..

    ..Michael

  • look at jimmy play 5:14 its like he is on a diffirent world

  • if I was a girl I'd marry him. As a guy I envy him and love his hair.

  • @rekoonsghjkl which one

  • @mrXXrauf182XX Robert and maybe Jimmy too lol

  • @rekoonsghjkl if you are a guy then you can't know how you would act if you were a girl......maybe you would actually think he was ugly.

  • @diego59x well I have envy for Robert then. take care :)

  • @rekoonsghjkl hahahaha, i know what you mean bro.........i would kill to have his hair.

  • the bass and the gong in the begging of Dazed And Confused

  • he's coming - he really really is coming - Abbie

  • The song at the beginning is "the rain song"

  • Mmmmm, mushrooms!

  • Love it, so 70s, mental film ... could have cut out a lot of the weird stuff and focused on the live performance, but it's what the band wanted. Of all the groups of the 70s Zeppelin would have been the band to see live . I envy anyone who saw them.

  • what is the name of the song that is playing in the beginning through like 6:05?

  • @Bulletwithguns "The Rain Song"

  • My lady who is Filipino saw JP on this video and she said to me "Who is he? He's good looking, I like his eyes he has nice eyes!" I said he's "JP"!!

  • what a voice

  • jimmy page is magic!

  • i always wondered who the girl was in this vid. good lord

  • The Golden Warrior ;)

  • Robert on a horse! I love horses!

  • The whole movie is off. That's why I like it! I don't understand anything of the video, but songs and words speak for themselves. Gotta love the movie <3

  • Although Robert Plant on the horse is hilarious, and his rescue of the maiden is inspiring, the best part of this video is Jimmy Page in his own world playing the ending section of the Rain Song on the GIbson double-neck under the blue and green stage lights to a sold-out Madison Square Garden crowd. His head nod at 6:12 is a nice touch too.

  • Is it The Rain Song in the beginning of the video also

  • did he just pick up 2 joints?

  • God I miss the seventies.

  • jimmy page makes me believe in magic

  • what is the name of this EPIC SONG?!?!?!?

  • @darraghok Plant was king...he can barely sing now.

  • @footchannel9 Not at all man! I saw him at the Greek Theater two days ago with his Band of Joy in Berkeley...the guy is still phenomenal. I couldn't believe how he still had it. Look it up, you'll find some great clips

  • Now there is a perfect example of how society has changed if someone was to try and get into a concert like that now they would never be let in because of all the hate in the world i would like a change Love all

  • golden god... holy shit!

  • Those cops are the best people ever.

  • chick at 6:38 is freaking wasted

  • who the fuck disliked this?

  • What effects pedals are on the intro to Dazed And Confused?

  • @PastaCheifFilms Wah Wahs

  • Why are the vocals (3:26) different in the movie than the CD soundtrack? In this he says, "now listen". In the soundtrack he says, "talk to me". How can I get the one here that's uploaded on youtube?

  • rpbert found out what real lied in his past i guess thats why he left this behind

  • 5:00 looks like God looking into the center of the universe. God loves guitar too, apparently.

  • Is that Doune Castle, where Monty Python & the Holy Grail was filmed?

  • within us all a little rain must fall

only voices of gods could say such a thing

  • @Hawwieee lol "Upon us all, awwww a little rain must fall."

  • The Rain Song is the best LZ song ever.

  • i love this song

  • LOL those castle guards are the lamest ever, they got scared away by a bird

  • Robert Plant gets plenty of credit as as a voice, but he is a poet as well, just listen to the words!!

  • @TasOMW

not trying to diminish the awesome of zeppelin, but most lyrics by zeppelin, including that of dazed and confused were rewrites of old blues songs

  • Great!!!!

  • I remember NYC cops in the 1970's. They were so cool with the kids, as long as you didn't make a jerk of yourself. After Mayor Juliani and the Reagan Era, that totally changed in NYC.

  • I'm in love with Robert Plant.

  • The Girl in this video is quite possible the most beautiful girl in the world, and captured my heart since I first saw her when this movie came out

  • It just got hot in here from 3:21-3:32

  • @hippiegirlatheart

    i'm 16 too.

it's bullshit the kids are raised to believe the media and the pop scene's music is worth listening to. it's a social thing. this music is too beautiful for most people to most understand. they're too simple minded.

  • @mistad00m thank you! took the words right out of my mouth!

  • EL MUSICAL, MAS BELLO QUE E VISTO DE ROCK. VIVA ZEPPPELIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • God knows how many hair metal bands were inspired after seeing this video

  • Why did it cut off in the middle of the Rain Song in the last one? :(

    Love this one!

  • That was the life. No insane mortgages, petrol for the car, stressful trips to the shops, brunches, and buying silly shit and working at some dead end horrible job. It was all roaming around the country with your maiden and steel sword, slaying bad dudes and chillaxing in the pre-global warming clean air!

  • @seanwukun Nah you were just HIGH AS FUCK. And I dont blame ya.

  • Classic in more ways than ONE, this band will always be a legend! reasons are evident!]

    TALENT!

  • LED ZEPPELIN is the BEST band ever and no one can beat them....I LOVE THIS BAND SO MCh!!!!!!I listen to it everyday and im 12...I wish I was born in the seventies so I couldve seen them live....

  • Man, I wonder who those guys were, the dudes who got to see Zeppelin for free.

  • Man, I would be honored if Robert Plant sent a hawk to kill me.

It would easily be the best death of all time!

  • @bayley5150 - the song is called Rain Song.

Absolutely amazing. I wish I'd been alive in the 70s! I was born in '93. :( Led Zeppelin was the greatest band of all time.

  • To Valhalla, my brothers, we ride for our King and Crom!

  • what is the name of the song up to 6:10????? please.

  • the rain song

  • Nice doobies Plant picks up, haha!

  • I LOVE JIMMY PAGE AND ALL BUT NOONE TALKS ABOUT HOW AMAZING ROBERT PLANT IS.........it kinda sucks.and considering i know for a goddamn fact led zeppelin would have never been anything without robert because jimmy page only felt comfortable playing his songs with robert vocals.

  • @AntonioThomasOffical haha iknow rite? { D

  • @AntonioThomasOffical true man, did you hear robert plant recently said he doesnt like any music he did in his led zeppelin days. i guess he is trying to do the whole country thing now...........

  • @AntonioThomasOffical You are right, but also know that Robert wasn't Jimmy's FIRST choice as a singer, but he ended up being a perfect fit, vocally, anyways. Someone told me Paul Rogers was Jimmy's first choice, but he was committed elsewhere.

  • @AntonioThomasOffical well, i'll tell you how amazing robert is! He's my favorite, even over Jimmy. Always has been. mostly cuz he's such a hottie buy yeah, that primal way he has of performing doesn't hurt either. Wish he wasn't so lame these days.

  • When Page and Plant came back in 95 for No Quarter tour and 98 (without symphony that time) It was amazing. They opened up with the Wanton Song.

  • Agreed. Best gig I've ever been to was Page and Plant at Wembley Arena in 1995 (closely followed by David Bowie in 2003) and they started with The Wanton Song. I thought the orchestra really added to some of the songs, like Kashmir. The Unplugged video shows that.

Saw Page and Plant in 1998 as well but they weren't anywhere near as good that particular night.

  • i hated when they call robert plant evil or satanist, how can such an innocent soul do harm, same goes for jimmy.

  • Sad thing is Jimmy followed Aliester Crowely.. and bought his house.. He wrote the Satanic Bible and Jimmy owns the biggest Occult store in London.

  • i was being kind of sarcastic, but i dont think jimmy was a satanist, and didnt he sell the crowley house?for instance, i have a huge interest in ghost hunting. and ghosts... i believe ghost are demons insted of humans that passed. but at the same time im still fascinated by them. I never done or even attempted to contact spirits. so the same interest the jimmy has with crowley, is like the same interest i have with ghost.

  • Actually Jimmy was into Black Magick. He did used it with the music. Crowely taught about it as well as how to influence people with it. Learning things backwards the same, and putting things into music. The Beatles even did it and have Crowely on an album cover. Anyway your comment on ghosts are demons instead of past people. I agree. It even mentions that in the Bible. It all does seem very interesting, but it can be harmful. Great video though!

  • you are wrong about this one...Anton Szandor LaVey did the bible...

  • Upon us all a little rain must fall

just jus jus just a little rain...

  • Lol my favorite Led Zep song is always whatever song I'm listening to at the moment.

  • aww fuck.. another eargasm from a led zep song (that's a good thing)

  • What did those guys say to get backstage?

  • when the term heavy metal was coined, Jimmy Page resented Zeppelin's music being classified as such. Metal is all about rift bashing, but Zeppelin tried to create drama and passion by contrasting hard driving, heavy crunching rifts mixed in with traditional boogie woogie blues, and rich melodies. In doing so, they created a sound that can't be definitively described or classified and has never been matched. Its pure genius that will stand the test of time.

  • kurtis......

Homer himself could not have said that more tactfully or as eloquently!

my hats off to you (and to roy harper)

  • Thank you for your kind words, Maineiacial. I've been reading "Hammer of the Gods" which chronicles the rise of Led Zeppelin and explains a good deal about their music. Its a fun book.

For example, "D'yer Maker", on the Houses of the Holy album is a tribute to Reggae music. The title of this song is a take off on "Jamaica". What strikes me about Zeppelin's music is how different the personalities are of their various albums and songs. They don't really seem to have any bad songs.

  • hammer of the gods = shark incident

    hehe

  • hammer of the gods is a great book!!

  • Nicely put, also by the elevated states of imagery and fervor that those bluesy rhythms seem to conjure

  • @KurtisERIK Very true, zeppelin are just one of a kind. And who ever thinks its metal is just dumb. Psycodelic and very dramatic music that will never be again.

  • @KurtisERIK you're soo right!!! n to make it short: LED ZEPPELIN is LED ZEPPELIN and no band or musician ever will reach them... not even the single band mates!!

  • @KurtisERIK Like hard bluesy rock..pure rock

  • No matter how many times I watch this - and there's some 20 years or more - it's like the first time. Definitely my favorite Led Zeppelin song, and one of the showmanship cornerstones in self-indulgent-70 rock. Oh boy, those men could play.

  • this is the most beautiful rock song ever imo

  • Beautiful song

  • It's all wonderful but 5:42-6:12 I could watch again and again

  • First time I saw this movie was in 1978 I believe :-) I was 10 saw it in Westchester Ca at the Loyola Theater I think This is when I fell in love with Jimmy! :-D

  • Robert dame un kaño.

  • piko en el ojo

  • Holy! That is a real bird Plant is riding horseback with....that's talent

  • And like the wind, they rise and fall

  • At 6:20 Robert Plant holds up a joint lol sweet

  • Oh man that would've sucked for that guy who fell in that moat when robert pushed him.

Cause the water the guy landed on is the castle's sewer system......

  • I remember the first time I saw the movie. It was back in 1987 and in this song every muscle of my body was paralized. I was in shock, with no reaction. Man, Zep is a huge part of my life.

  • I saw it for the first time at a theater walk-in kind in Westchester Ca 1977, Thats when I fell in love with Jimmy Page LOL, I was 8 years old. My babysitter took me with her to see it :-) Lucky Lucky Meeeee!
