  • I wish you all the best with your training, your dummy work looks good. One thing I would say is try to look at where your striking for example at 0:22 your head is away from the target area. I don't know any wooden dummy forms at all, but I feel this should be mentioned. Thanks for sharing.

  • well done

    perfect

  • Brilliant, really flow and smooth, expressive hand techniques. CHeers! :D

  • good, you must not look to camera must serious train de wooden dummy

  • cool, where can i buy a wooden dummy?

i have a garage but no wall to fest it on

  • Wow that was insane, his hands ended up moving that fast you could hardly see them.

  • u r good i am bulding my self a dummy 4 wing tsun hope i get good 2how often u train?ps.sorry 4 my english...

  • not bad ;)

  • The main objection I have with this clip is the term JKD IN THE TITLE, this guy is ok but some of the moves are to passive for true JKD. This is just Wing Chun on a Mook Jong, nothing more nothing less but it ain't JKD, take a lokk at Poteet's dummy work.

  • I agree plus JKD is not a style. JKD is a priciple. The style is wing chun. if somone is comfortable with muay thai way of kicking then thats still JKD. It different for everybody. its waht your comfotable with.

  • You talk as if jkd is superior to wc. If i do not misunderstand please explain how you feel this.

  • Its not like wing cun either wing chun would mostly be fist strikes. And jkd is based on wing chun so it is ok to have jkd in the title.

  • jeet kune do is not a style its a sytem of training.. bruce lee said jeet kune do is a way of training yourself. to atain higher skill bye mixing it up and learning what u can do.. and anyways unless you train under dan inosanto then u are not truely in bruce lees. jeet kune do.. because dan inosanto is the only man that is still alive that bruce authorised to teach jeet kune do

  • what about jerry poteet? the rest of what you say here is true but there is a great many people who teach legitimate jeet kune do and probably in every state.

  • they may teach legitimate jeet kune do but they were not othorised to do so under bruce lee bruce lee only othorised one person as instructor in jeet kune do and thats dan inosanto go look up his bio and it clearly states that

  • @actionmanrandell Wrong! Dan Inosanto came up with new ideas and modified it. Inosanto created something that can be called a break away branch. Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do has other followers. It's irrelevant that only Inosanto was authorized as an instructor. Jeet Kune Do is more like a martial art philosophy. JKD is to martial arts what mathematics is to exact sciences (physics, chemistry, etc.). That's what I think.

  • @zaco21 it doesnt matter if dan inosanto came up with new ideas and modified the old jeet kune do facts are facts no other man was authorized to teach jeet kune do infact he is the only man who was auhtorized to teach jkd all other people bruce authorized were auhtorized under jun fan gung fu not jkd

  • @zaco21 and its not irrelevant because the idea of jeet kune do is to improve what you know to always strive for more. not to do the same old stuff over and over in every jkd school i have ever looked into they still do the same stuff bruce did. which by the way is outdated. what inosanto has done has continued the goal of jeet kune do which is to continue to develope and learn. if bruce had lived on his jkd would have been alot different in appearance now.

  • @zaco21 cont and when bruce was alive he had said to numerous people that he did not thank there was anyone qualified to take over and teach jkd exept for dan inosanto.

  • In the end, a JKD instructor only needs to know Bruce Lee's rules and some martial arts to teach you. Lee said that JKD doesn't have a form.

  • this is not a good dummy

  • nice work man. keep it up! (:

  • Dummy dimmie

  • hey man not bad just make your moves flow a little and your good

  • lol @ teh chun

  • Hey mate , have you trained with Sigung Rick Spain, I was trying to check out the patch on your uniform. If you do Iv been with him for the last 8 years. Kuen yau sum fat

  • I trained under Rick Spain for a while and then trained under Sifu Kira Clarke and then Sifu Stuart in Ulverstone, after that, I went and trained under Grandmaster William Cheung and Sifu Dana Wong.... Now I just train on my own and with a few friends :)

  • I liked how you did the movements slow so people could see the strikes better. Keep up the good work your doing fine.

  • Thanks mate, I took up Wing Chun for fitness, not really "to be the best", I find the dummy is one of the best places to practice moves as it doesn't complain about being hit :)

  • gurojon, you should know better.

  • Thanks for the comment defence, as some people's way is in "no way"... ;)

  • you are making this up. why do it you idiot

  • :\ ......

  • good stuff thx for the tutorial

  • :) thanks mate
