  • Awesome video! I spent a year there as a new NCO from 2000 to 2001 as a 67S (now known as a 15S) I have some great memories from my time at Camp Stanton and this really brought back a lot of them. Thanks.

  • This is Great video, but sad at the same time. I was a wet behind the ears WO1 scout pilot and dear ol' Camp Stanton was my first duty station and that was in 1978 .

    Great on the video and Free Bird is playing with pride.. Gary Owen!!

  • Awesome video! I was stationed there from Jan 1993-Jan 1994. A couple old soldiers started a face book page dedicated to Camp Stanton all are welcome if you served on the rock. There are some cool pictures starting to come in but we need more members to add pics and videos. If your interested in joining go to facebook, groups and type in Camp Stanton Korea.

  • Was stationed at Stanton in '89-'90. 5/5 ADA, chaparral missiles. Good times but I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there. Can't believe they bulldozed the place. BTW, I am/was Spec. White.

  • SPC Howard stationed there with HHT fuel section Sep 96-97 good times there as well

  • Stationed there from May 2001 to May 2002. 3/5 platoon, Spc Gregory, F-troop 4/7 CAV. It was great serving there.

  • I was stationed at Camp Stanton from 2000-2001. I had great memories of Korea and the people I served with. I will always remember the hard work and fun times I had in country. Thanks for sharing.

  • WoW!!! I was Station at Camp Stanton in 94 when 5/5 ADA was there. I was in a scout Platoon back then. Got great memories about that place. The only regret was I never took pictures of that place. I'm trying to find somebody that has pictures of Camp Stanton that can share with me.

  • I was a pilot on Stanton 76 and 77.  Old Buildings, Old Cobras and weather. Great guys to fly with though.

  • I was stationed there in 1988 and 1989 when it was an Air Defense Artillery. My first duty station. Nothing compared to it. Great part of the world and lots of fun and hard work. Thanks for posting this brother.

  • I was at stanton from jan84 to dec84,C-TRP ,AERO-RECON PLT.We were the first 19deltas to use the blackhawks.I think we had 4 uh-60,6 oh-58 and 8 ah1s per trp.A was m60a1 and 113 at G.O.,D-TRP was at the airfield in the city 5km north of camp stanton.B-TRP was with us at stanton.The best unit i was ever in,great time to be young.SSG .LaBoone,ret.

  • Memories of when I moved from GO to Stanton to take a spot in the DIC office. Lots of good times I will admit.

  • I had a blast at Stanton. I had Miss Gary Owen in my room for almost half my tour. CSM. finally put the word out that it needed to be returned. We took it right out of their club during the day!!!! Even got pictures of the Apaches...we painted the wheels red and white when they stayed for the night. Spc. Bill Priest 67S 96 -'97.

  • Was there Jan 1988 to Jan 1989. Brings back some great memories.....I had a lot of fun met some awesome people.

  • was at stanton from 2002-2003 somewhere around there , i miss it i miss korea i miss the army brotherhood, spc. buchanan 55b....its changed since then, signing out

  • i was in korea during 95 til 2002 i lived a quarter of a block away and was always on camp stanton even when gay ass lt.sweeney would harass me daily btw eat a fat dick sweeney

  • I was at Camp Stanton from 1967-1968... Cavalry was tanks...not air. Spent many a night on border patrol on the DMZ...

  • Nice video, Capt. Klein. I spent 13 months at Camp Stanton with the 5/5 ADA in 1989 & 1990. I had some good times at that little camp. Seeing it again after all this time is a little weird. Thanks for the post, but most of all thank you for all you do for our freedom.
