  • It clearly works & I am surprised you have enough gain to power a loudspeaker.

    Is the transformer on top of the chassis supplying the heater of the valve or is it the output transformer?

    You seem to have a hum problem.

    It is a good idea to keep the RF stage at one end of the chassis & as far away from the power supply as possible.

    I made that mistake before my friend. I am not trying to diss your efforts my friend.

    I have gone through four versions of my radio. The latest is on 2 chassis.

  • @puyansude Yes, you can change and modify the coil. It's very easy cos it made from toilet roll paper. The coil is 240uH and varicap is 334pF. It;s about 76 turns. Dont forget to make 10% of total turns as a antenna section....
