Hi You know Irish really struggled with this. She will jump up on these platform all the time but she still for some reason seems scared of it. So I never really forced it on her past this but what it ended up teaching her is she can approach me from the ground when I am laying down and I stick my feet up and she will jump off of them over my head to catch a thrown frisbee by me. I am working on something else neat with the new pup Thunder and so far he has zero fears and I will get some video
Thanks for this...My Sleet is like Irish...knows where I want her to go but daren't jump up there...she tries to climb up, haha:D If somebody assists by holding her harness, she'll jump onto my feet herself and then the other person just needs to make sure she doesn't fall once she's up and help her get her footing if she doesn't manage it at first...not often enough I can get volunteers to give me a hand though.
HI THERE MARK,I'M ACTUALLY WORKINK ON THAT WITH MY AUSSIE,LITTLE BABY STEP LIKE YOU JUST SAID!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS HELP A LOT AND I'M GONNA GO PRACTICE SO I CAN PUT THIS IN MY FREESTYLE ROUTINE ONE DAY(BACK HERE NEAR OF MONTREAL(QUÉBEC),PEOPLE ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH DISC DOGGING,WE ARE VERY FEW WHO COMPETE IN CDDA FREESTYLE EVENT BUT I TRY TO PROMOTE THE SPORT SO TANKS AGAIN FOR HELPING ME REACH GREATER HIGH!!!!TAKE CARE!!! Awesome! Always enjoy to see how you explain all the stuff! And you are so creative in build up things to train your dogs!
