Fedor is a great fighter nobody can argue that but this belief that he could wipe the floor with everybody that has every fought in the ufc is ridiculous. Yes he has beaten multiple guys who fight or fought in the ufc some of which were not elite fighters within the ufc others past their best when they fought him personally think goodridge and Coleman both were, Or overrated like arlovski is in my opinion.

Lindland was 212 coming into that fight. i know he typically fights at middleweight, but 212 is not middleweight. as for losing to hendo, hendos a bad ass mofo. but he has fought many times at LW and has a win over big nog.. bigfoot was the first giant he fought that had skill to back it up. its was still a competive bout. doctor stopped, but fedor (80 pounds smaller) was still holding his own...

When Fedor is dominated by other fighters and wins the fighst, they say he got lucky. When he dominated Werdum, and got caught, it's because "he can't fight." Give me a break. Respect every fighter. If you want to prove that they are not the best at what they do, go and fight them. Until then, shut up and let the fighters do the talking. Let me rephrase an old saying. Dana himself said it ni multiple interveiws after he left that he should have stayed. not now of coarse but 3 of his 5 wins he had going at the time inclueded 3 in the UFC and the names of Werdum, Rothwell, and Roy Nelson were in that and 4 of the 5 wins were by ko or tko.... that would make him a top 10. Most educated fans predicted him lossing to Werdum who also shouldnt have left the UFC
@199jl You may have convinced me about the former Arlovski (at the time), I just remember Arlovski before he left the UFC he was fighting on the undercard. Rothwell, and Roy should not be considered top 10. I do agree that Werdum was cut too early but I just compare fighting records of say Randy Coutoure, and Fedor, sorry Fedor's record doesnt hold water. Hong Man Choi, Gary Goodridge, Heath Herring? Fedor would get crushed agains top fighers in the UFC. Mainly Cain, Junior, and Shane!

@Mikeraske he hasnt consistetly fought strong top level competition in mma. Arlovski and Werdum are the only good ones since he earned that #1 ranking he has fought 1 or 2 times a year against mostly sub par competition he is an awsome fighter with shitty management they fucked the last 6 years of HIS CAREER and he resigned with them after his first 3 he wants compitition comming to him making him not hungry as a fighter.

@kanguesso Should be titled former champ killer, you can't call him the champ killer because he has never actually competed in the UFC against any of these guys while they held the title. The UFC is seen as the premier MMA org in the world with the overwhelming majority of the top talent in each weight class competing there from 135-265. To maintain your relevence you have to be fighting in the biggest org in the world with the best available competition, Jake Shields is a good example of this.

Fedor is a great fighter nobody can argue that but this belief that he could wipe the floor with everybody that has every fought in the ufc is ridiculous. Yes he has beaten multiple guys who fight or fought in the ufc some of which were not elite fighters within the ufc others past their best when they fought him personally think goodridge and Coleman both were, Or overrated like arlovski is in my opinion.
To clarify I think he is an amazing fighter but not as great as many believe.

Lindland was 212 coming into that fight. i know he typically fights at middleweight, but 212 is not middleweight. as for losing to hendo, hendos a bad ass mofo. but he has fought many times at LW and has a win over big nog.. bigfoot was the first giant he fought that had skill to back it up. its was still a competive bout. doctor stopped, but fedor (80 pounds smaller) was still holding his own...

Rothwell, and Roy should not be considered top 10. I do agree that Werdum was cut too early but I just compare fighting records of say Randy Coutoure, and Fedor, sorry Fedor's record doesnt hold water. Hong Man Choi, Gary Goodridge, Heath Herring? Fedor would get crushed agains top fighers in the UFC. Mainly Cain, Junior, and Shane!

Arlovski and Werdum are the only good ones since he earned that #1 ranking he has fought 1 or 2 times a year against mostly sub par competition he is an awsome fighter with shitty management they fucked the last 6 years of HIS CAREER and he resigned with them after his first 3 he wants compitition comming to him making him not hungry as a fighter.

@miloandot Werdum was given an ultimatum. Either take a huge pay cut or hit the road. He he chose the Latter and went to a lesser organization were he tuned their "Best" fighter. Werdum had also turned in a few lack luster performances and not to mention he was himself ass raped by JDS in the first round.

Most of the best fighters have got caught, sometimes by lesser opponents than Werdum. Like I said GSP was caught by Serra, Anderson Silva has been caught by Chonan and Takase, JDS was caught by Joaquim Ferreira. People get caught. Are these guys better than them overall, of course not.

@kanguesso Should be titled former champ killer, you can't call him the champ killer because he has never actually competed in the UFC against any of these guys while they held the title. The UFC is seen as the premier MMA org in the world with the overwhelming majority of the top talent in each weight class competing there from 135-265. To maintain your relevence you have to be fighting in the biggest org in the world with the best available competition, Jake Shields is a good example of this.

@lilsm555 Brock is an amateur to and he took out Couture, Mir, and Herring. Veterans of the sport. I don't care how great of a fighter you are, if you're giving up a huge amount of weight to a guy that is much bigger and athletic as well it's going to be tough. You have to have a good game plan and wear your opponent out, thats what Fedor did. Maybe people should stop finding ways to put the man down and appreciate how he fights and what he has done for the sport.

Don't know why but this vid makes me see the MMA legacy span out... the sport is growing stupidly fast, so there's the inevitable hype-train, but I feel the genuine heritage now. Boxing has thier old guard, the classic cloth new fighters want a cut from... MMA legitimately has its own now.
Fedor, Nogueira, Couture, Rutten, Liddell, Wanderlei, Hughes, Gracies, Saku, Shogun, Severn, Frye, Chonan, Spider Silva, Henderson, Rampage, Franklin etc.

what would make fabrecio werdum any acception? werdum was in the ufc and lost against juniour dos santos. if werdum cant use his BJJ against top contenders like dos santos, and frank mir, how would werdums outcome be any different? Brocks at the top of that division buddy. I really don't understand how you can call Werdum and especially Overeem "mid-level" fighters yet in the same breath call Shane Carwin a top fighter. Shane Carwin has made a career of fighting bums, he has two notable wins on his record, a TKO of an overrated Gonzaga who almost knocked Carwin the fuck out and a TKO win over Frank Mir, a guy who wilts under ANY serious pressure.
The only reason you think Carwin is a top fighter is because the UFC tells you this.

The first Fedor fight I ever watched was Fedor Nog 1. After that, I was fuckin sold. I don't even care if he lost or even fights in the UFC. Their HW division only emerged about a year ago. Before that they hid the shit out of Couture. If he goes Big Foot, Werdum, Overeem, nobody can say shit.

Fedor has never even fought a UFC champ. He has beaten rejects that formerly held UFC titles, before being beat out of the UFC. Fedor=ALWAYS overrated, NEVER was the greatest.
