this looks so scray i cant wait til it comes out I LOVE DR WHO hey which episode of dr who does everyone thinks the scariest? i think 'Blink' it is fucking scary
the story goin is that this will air on UK tv in October as it fits in perfect with the whole holoween thingy, and as Sarah Jane will show through September with david T in a few epsodes they will want to get that out of the way, then the two remaining DW specials will show on xmas day & new years day
Yeah, well... i meant to say near November, so i suppose that means it could be October aswell. And SJA, i can't wait for the Doctor to appear, it's about bloody time. I'm just pissed that Ten will never get to appear in Torchwood. Maybe the Doctor will appear in TW, but it's gonna be the new ugly Doctor.
u dont like the new doc, I dont think he's an oil painting by any means but I do look forwards to seeing what he's gona be like as the latest timelord, I found I resisted David at first because Christopher was so bloody good and I wanted to see him advance and such, but I now find it hard to deal with David leaving, but thats the nature of the beast, is their a story that Capt Jack will b in the Xmas specials, I am just watching Children of Earth now, SJA when is second serious out on DVD,
SJA: Series 2 will be released on 9th November '09. And good to here your watching COE, it's a shame their wasn't really much special features on the DVD. And Matt Smith is just very annoying, but David was never annoying and looked like a fun guy. Captain Jack will star in the DW: Christmas Special and Gwen is rumoured to appear along side, and i think that the Hub will be repaired due in the special. I hope anyway, Luke & Sarah-Jane also appear along with John Simm, Billie Piper and many more.
hay thanks for all the info, the rest of the year looks amazing for all the DW, SJA, TW etc, I here that Russell T will focus more on MGM shows, thanks again
hi well MGM means that RT wants to do more tv like Queer as Folk, he has stated that he intends to write a new QAF set again in manchester but with a whole new cast, he coined the phrase MGM (more gay men) HAPPY FRIDAY
hay ta, but, well the talk here is it will air end of October as part of Holloween, hope its so because it looks scary stuff, any news on the Crimbo/New Year double yet
same, i'm always on wiki and stuff and you end up wathing the same thing over and oveer again months before its going to air xx hurry i'm SJA i need some doctor xx =D
the monster in this looks really scary. i think this is going to be a very good episode compared to the last 2 specials like planet of the dead and the next doctor{only the cybermen were good in that episode].

I am amazed that no-one else has noticed what I did the moment I saw the initial teaser trailer. This special is a blatant rip-off of the 1987 John Carpenter movie 'Prince Of Darkness'. Even the story's name semi-plagiarises Carpenter's most recent film, GHOSTS Of Mars. "There are no new ideas"? Sure. "It'll probably be really good." Again, sure. Why does that stop Davies giving Carpenter the story credit he is due?

Yes, but because he is that big on anagrams, perhaps this is something new. He said himself that this is one of the greatest moments he's written for the series; it wouldn't be that obvious.
Now this looks like TruWho - the abscence of background music makes it even more creepier because you can hear the dripping water....I hope they leave the majority of the episode musicless...would be scary as hell.
I am having nightmares tonight . . . water always wins.
Also, with the Time Lords back and the Master . . . that means the Master has done something . . . something terribly wrong . . . and he will knock 4 times! The wait is killing me, but at least we got Torchwood: Children of Earth and the Doctor in the SJA coming up. I am still worried that Donna's big ring has something to do with the Master's ring. I was surprised to. I really thought they were done with rose. And if donna is coming back , will she die? Because the doctor said if she found out anything about him she would burn up. I really hope she will be fine.
yeah, i agree, they look horrible! it' really creepily scary-but doesn't just plain morbidnesss belong in torchwood? ah well, makes a change from that stupid fake beetle thing of last year...
Oh yes. Looks like children will be having nightmares and even adults will have chills down their spines come this epsiode. These creatures look great!
The Master, Rose Tyler, Jackie Tyler, Donna Noble, Sylvia Noble, Wilfred Mott, Sarah Jane Smith, Luke Smith and Alonso Frame are all in the Tenth Doctor's finale. Harriet Jones isn't though. She's dead.
Yes, we did. The Subwave Network image was lost, because Russell T Davies likely though seeing Harriet Jones get exterminated or showing her dead body would upset children. Russell also confirmed her death, which Producer Phil Collinson was upset over and tried to prevent.
Well if that's true then my little theory of the Master helping Harriet Jones [the tone of the subwave network when it becomes active sounded like the arch angel network] Well, then again, RTD always lieees!! =]
Alonso eh? Didn't know that...heard a rumour though but not confirmed. It won't be like last time, where everyone had a part to play. I reckon it'll be cameos. Except for Donna , The Master and Wilf.
What can I say? For the first time I am completley in the dark over the events of a Dr Who episode!!! Usually the temptation of reading spoilers spoils it for me!
Yeah, at least I think it's Alonso. Russell Tovey has been confirmed to appear and photos of him on set have appeared on the web. I hope it's Alonso anyway! Did you know, he was meant to appear in the Stolen Earth, but couldn't because of scheduling issues? Also, Russell claims in his behind the scenes book, A Writer's Tale that Alonso was to sacrifice his life in that episode. :( His role was replaced by Harriet Jones, in the final draft.
As for Voyage of the Damned, according to Russell T Davies' behind the scenes book, 'A Writer's Tale' Mr Copper and Max Capricorn were the roles considered for a guest appearance by Dennis Hopper! Hopper desperately wanted the role, but couldn't make it due to scheduling conflicts. Also in David's final story, Donna is a side character, along with Sylvia. The Master is the villain, along with Timothy Dalton's Time Lord character. Claire Bloom wil play an important role, as the Doctor's mother.
Yeah I knew he was originally meant to be in SE...actually I recall seeing pictures of Russell Tovey filming but I can't remember if it was this year's special or last years... Aww...would love to see Donna again! Hope she has a happy ending!!
I'm sorry, Donna doesn't get a happy ending. At least, not according to rumour, pictures and set reports. She has a new boyfriend who is also her fiancee. So yeah, she's getting married again! I won't spoil it for you, but be warned, it all ends in tragedy....
What you actually know what happens? No PLEASE don't spoil it for me! This is actually the first Dr Who story that I don't know what happens, from 1-4 I gave in to spoilers but this year, I haven't - which for me, is amazing. =]
Sounds very intruging to me but if you know, don't you dare tell me! =]
Ah, well of course it ends in tragedy, its Russell T Davies ;) No wonder Matt Smith will be a dark Doctor, given the events of the Xmas Specials!
Yeah, I know what happens. And don't worry, I'm not going to spoil it for you. I'm not a jerk. I don't do things like that. Besides, the cryptic hint of tragedy in the story that I have given you is enough....until you actually see the story, that is. ;)
I found out through set reports from various Websites. They were acquired by fans who had come to watch the filming. They ALL give the same account. So yeah, I did find it out on spoiler Sites, kinda. It's also been discussed on various forums. But I do also have a friend who works at the BBC. He's in charge of Sound systems. Weird coincidence that, given the question that you asked.
Ooh, now I must resist the temptation to go and look at the forums and websites...=] OK, how bad is the tragedy? Is it a death?
Ah cool! I don't know anyone who works with the BBC or Doctor Who. Strange cause I'm from Wales, and Doctor Who is made by BBC Wales. =] Would love to see Dr Who being filmed at least once though =] Wish they'd come to North Wales!!
I'm afraid I can't tell you anymore about the tragedy concerning Donna. Like I said, that was spoil it! And you really wouldn't want that, would you? But I can tell you this: it is a BAD tragedy, the worst kind in fact. As for Doctor Who filming, you should go to Cardiff at night! Yeah, my cousin lives there and also goes to College there. She told me that her friend actually saw filming for the 2009 Christmas Special there at night, with Bernard Cribbins, a Christmas tree and a brass band!
Haha don't worry, I didn't notice the typo anyway LOL =]
OK - I really don't want to spoil it but there's that temptation of being able to find out what happens...Just have to wait ! Its better that way anyway, cause I remember in Utopia, I didn't know YANA was the Master so that was pretty awesome xD. Ooh cool - I've seen those photos! ^_^ Curse RTD if he kills anyone off!!! ;)
Yeah, I didn't know Yana was the Master either, so that came as a huge shock for me! However, I did know that the Master was returning for the finale, played by John Simm, because Simm's Life on Mars co star, Phil Glenister (who plays Gene Hunt) had let it slip to the Press that John would be playing the Master in Doctor Who.
Annoyingly I knew about the second Doctor, and the "botched" regeneration as it was described so it kinda spoiled the last finale =] That's why I'm trying to stay away from spoiles but its so hard! I've already found out about the Master, Donna, Time Lords, Rose, Wilf, Jack, and The Journal of Impossible things! =p
Yeah, I found about all those things, too. ;P BTW, did you know that Verity Newman, the woman who published John Smith's 'the Journal of Impossible Things' in the present, is played by Jessica Hynes who also played Nurse Joan Redfern and is meant to be her descendent?
Yeah I knew that! Saw the pictures!! =] It looks really interesting =] Can't wait to see it =] Do you know when its shown? Is it Christmas Day and New Year's Day or Christmas eve and Christmas day or something else?
As you probably already know, David Tennant's final story is comprised of 2 hour long specials. The titles are as yet unknown. The first part is definately broadcast on Christmas day. The other will most likely be on New Year's day, because that ties into the whole rebirth/new beginning for the show with a new Doctor, companion, Producer and production team. I don't know about you, but I'm excited about Series 5! BTW, here's some news I picked up, filming for Series 5 starts this Monday!
Yeah I knew that. It's also called The End of Time. The title of the first part of the story is currently unknown, but it is confirmed that the first part will run for 60 minutes.
Also, I forgot to mention that the Robot Santa Scavengers from 'the Christmas Invasion' and 'the Runaway Bride' will return in the first part of David's final story. They will be likely working for the Master. Also, a posh looking mansion and an old Church will also play a part in the plot. Cool, huh?
And I also forgot to mention, BIG NEWS! A new photo of Matt Smith and Karen Gillan in full time travelling regalia (finally, the 11th Doctor's costume revealed) will be revealed this Tuesday! Also, Karen's character has been revealed to be called Amy and is scottish, just like the actress herself!
Ah of course, rebirth! ^_^ Yes me too! Yes, I found out that Series 5 begins filming - very exciting, its gonna be a whole other era =] Yeah, Tredgar house or something? =] I found that out earlier today too! Is it definitley Amy? It was reported in the Mirror or something ? Cool, Karen Gillian looks so lovely - I wonder what kind of companion she'll be and if she and the Doctor will have a romance of sorts.
Weird. First time I've said "the Doctor" whilst thinking of Matt Smith!
Yeah, she will be called Amy, it's been confirmed. And yes, their relationship will be romantic, like the Doctor/Rose relationship, but hopefully have a different perspective, so it doesn't feel like a rehash of plot. We needn't worry about plot though, Steven Moffat's one of the BEST writers in the world!
Ah cool =] I wonder what her surname will be? =] It could be like Twilight then, where the Doctor will look really young but is actually centuries old and that "forbidden love" thing. Don't worry though, I'm *not* a Twi-hard =] Robert Pattinson is overated !
Haha that's very true =] I'm glad if anyone had to take over from the brilliant Russell T Davies, it was Steven Moffat ^_^
Oh yeah, I forgot. Him too. He is seen attending some sort of intergalactic Council meeting, with a Graske, a Raxacoriocofallapatorian (Slitheen species), a man in white, a man in red, some robed women and some Monks. The meeting is rumoured to be held by the Shadow Proclamation to discuss some sort of threat.
Timothy Dalton has been seen filming in Time Lord robes. I assuming this means he's playing a Time Lord in some sense but not necessarily in 'reality'.
But...it doesn't make SENSE! Why are they just standing there, watching this man, not doing anything? Or, I guess, why are they not shocked? Happened before? Hmm......This clip is gonna make a WHOLE lot more sense in context. Yeah, that thing is SCARYYYYYYY. The BBC warned it may be frightening!! WOWW.
well, dont forget that the guy can turn you into one of those things by squirting water at you, thats what hes doing to the other guy... i wouldnt want to alarm it!

Kaagh178 2 years ago
As for Voyage of the Damned, according to Russell T Davies' behind the scenes book, 'A Writer's Tale' Mr Copper and Max Capricorn were the roles considered for a guest appearance by Dennis Hopper! Hopper desperately wanted the role, but couldn't make it due to scheduling conflicts. Also in David's final story, Donna is a side character, along with Sylvia. The Master is the villain, along with Timothy Dalton's Time Lord character. Claire Bloom wil play an important role, as the Doctor's mother.

how is any body getting these clips and when is this episode airing
Markshield1994 2 years ago
Yeah I knew he was originally meant to be in SE...actually I recall seeing pictures of Russell Tovey filming but I can't remember if it was this year's special or last years... Aww...would love to see Donna again! Hope she has a happy ending!!
DistantDreamer93 2 years ago
I'm sorry, Donna doesn't get a happy ending. At least, not according to rumour, pictures and set reports. She has a new boyfriend who is also her fiancee. So yeah, she's getting married again! I won't spoil it for you, but be warned, it all ends in tragedy....
Kaagh178 2 years ago
What you actually know what happens? No PLEASE don't spoil it for me! This is actually the first Dr Who story that I don't know what happens, from 1-4 I gave in to spoilers but this year, I haven't - which for me, is amazing. =]
Sounds very intruging to me but if you know, don't you dare tell me! =]
Ah, well of course it ends in tragedy, its Russell T Davies ;) No wonder Matt Smith will be a dark Doctor, given the events of the Xmas Specials!
DistantDreamer93 2 years ago
Yeah, I know what happens. And don't worry, I'm not going to spoil it for you. I'm not a jerk. I don't do things like that. Besides, the cryptic hint of tragedy in the story that I have given you is enough....until you actually see the story, that is. ;)
Kaagh178 2 years ago
How do you know what happens? I'm curious now ^_^ Did you find it on a spoiler site or do you know someone who works in the BBC?
Thanks =] Well, I know for sure there will be a tragedy, cause the 10th Doctor regenerates =[
DistantDreamer93 2 years ago
I found out through set reports from various Websites. They were acquired by fans who had come to watch the filming. They ALL give the same account. So yeah, I did find it out on spoiler Sites, kinda. It's also been discussed on various forums. But I do also have a friend who works at the BBC. He's in charge of Sound systems. Weird coincidence that, given the question that you asked.
Kaagh178 2 years ago
Ooh, now I must resist the temptation to go and look at the forums and websites...=] OK, how bad is the tragedy? Is it a death?
Ah cool! I don't know anyone who works with the BBC or Doctor Who. Strange cause I'm from Wales, and Doctor Who is made by BBC Wales. =] Would love to see Dr Who being filmed at least once though =] Wish they'd come to North Wales!!
DistantDreamer93 2 years ago
I'm afraid I can't tell you anymore about the tragedy concerning Donna. Like I said, that was spoil it! And you really wouldn't want that, would you? But I can tell you this: it is a BAD tragedy, the worst kind in fact. As for Doctor Who filming, you should go to Cardiff at night! Yeah, my cousin lives there and also goes to College there. She told me that her friend actually saw filming for the 2009 Christmas Special there at night, with Bernard Cribbins, a Christmas tree and a brass band!
Kaagh178 2 years ago
Haha don't worry, I didn't notice the typo anyway LOL =]
OK - I really don't want to spoil it but there's that temptation of being able to find out what happens...Just have to wait ! Its better that way anyway, cause I remember in Utopia, I didn't know YANA was the Master so that was pretty awesome xD. Ooh cool - I've seen those photos! ^_^ Curse RTD if he kills anyone off!!! ;)
DistantDreamer93 2 years ago
Yeah, I didn't know Yana was the Master either, so that came as a huge shock for me! However, I did know that the Master was returning for the finale, played by John Simm, because Simm's Life on Mars co star, Phil Glenister (who plays Gene Hunt) had let it slip to the Press that John would be playing the Master in Doctor Who.
Kaagh178 2 years ago
Annoyingly I knew about the second Doctor, and the "botched" regeneration as it was described so it kinda spoiled the last finale =] That's why I'm trying to stay away from spoiles but its so hard! I've already found out about the Master, Donna, Time Lords, Rose, Wilf, Jack, and The Journal of Impossible things! =p
DistantDreamer93 2 years ago
Yeah, I found about all those things, too. ;P BTW, did you know that Verity Newman, the woman who published John Smith's 'the Journal of Impossible Things' in the present, is played by Jessica Hynes who also played Nurse Joan Redfern and is meant to be her descendent?
Kaagh178 2 years ago
Yeah I knew that! Saw the pictures!! =] It looks really interesting =] Can't wait to see it =] Do you know when its shown? Is it Christmas Day and New Year's Day or Christmas eve and Christmas day or something else?
DistantDreamer93 2 years ago
As you probably already know, David Tennant's final story is comprised of 2 hour long specials. The titles are as yet unknown. The first part is definately broadcast on Christmas day. The other will most likely be on New Year's day, because that ties into the whole rebirth/new beginning for the show with a new Doctor, companion, Producer and production team. I don't know about you, but I'm excited about Series 5! BTW, here's some news I picked up, filming for Series 5 starts this Monday!
Kaagh178 2 years ago
Just so you know, David Tennants final episode is 75 minutes long
Jamestopboy 2 years ago
Yeah I knew that. It's also called The End of Time. The title of the first part of the story is currently unknown, but it is confirmed that the first part will run for 60 minutes.
Kaagh178 2 years ago
im gonna cry when he regenerates.
bluemoon1012 2 years ago 4
Also, I forgot to mention that the Robot Santa Scavengers from 'the Christmas Invasion' and 'the Runaway Bride' will return in the first part of David's final story. They will be likely working for the Master. Also, a posh looking mansion and an old Church will also play a part in the plot. Cool, huh?
Kaagh178 2 years ago
And I also forgot to mention, BIG NEWS! A new photo of Matt Smith and Karen Gillan in full time travelling regalia (finally, the 11th Doctor's costume revealed) will be revealed this Tuesday! Also, Karen's character has been revealed to be called Amy and is scottish, just like the actress herself!
Kaagh178 2 years ago
Ah of course, rebirth! ^_^ Yes me too! Yes, I found out that Series 5 begins filming - very exciting, its gonna be a whole other era =] Yeah, Tredgar house or something? =] I found that out earlier today too! Is it definitley Amy? It was reported in the Mirror or something ? Cool, Karen Gillian looks so lovely - I wonder what kind of companion she'll be and if she and the Doctor will have a romance of sorts.
Weird. First time I've said "the Doctor" whilst thinking of Matt Smith!
DistantDreamer93 2 years ago
Yeah, she will be called Amy, it's been confirmed. And yes, their relationship will be romantic, like the Doctor/Rose relationship, but hopefully have a different perspective, so it doesn't feel like a rehash of plot. We needn't worry about plot though, Steven Moffat's one of the BEST writers in the world!
Kaagh178 2 years ago
Ah cool =] I wonder what her surname will be? =] It could be like Twilight then, where the Doctor will look really young but is actually centuries old and that "forbidden love" thing. Don't worry though, I'm *not* a Twi-hard =] Robert Pattinson is overated !
Haha that's very true =] I'm glad if anyone had to take over from the brilliant Russell T Davies, it was Steven Moffat ^_^
DistantDreamer93 2 years ago
Sorry about the typo. I'm tired, LOL! I meant to say, that 'would' spoil it, not that 'was' spoil it! My mistake.
Kaagh178 2 years ago
She marrys the master? the master is cruel to her like he was cruel to Lucy?
gadgetboy17 2 years ago
so is jack
st0ner0 2 years ago
Oh yeah, I forgot. Him too. He is seen attending some sort of intergalactic Council meeting, with a Graske, a Raxacoriocofallapatorian (Slitheen species), a man in white, a man in red, some robed women and some Monks. The meeting is rumoured to be held by the Shadow Proclamation to discuss some sort of threat.

WARNING SPOILERS
Timothy Dalton has been seen filming in Time Lord robes. I assuming this means he's playing a Time Lord in some sense but not necessarily in 'reality'.

But...it doesn't make SENSE! Why are they just standing there, watching this man, not doing anything? Or, I guess, why are they not shocked? Happened before? Hmm......This clip is gonna make a WHOLE lot more sense in context. Yeah, that thing is SCARYYYYYYY. The BBC warned it may be frightening!! WOWW.
