I've always regarded these portable power packs as being just glorified car batteries. I love the Elinchrom gear as I have 5 of their mains powered lights, but do these power packs ever die?

Chris, can the Quadra support the 39" or 53" Octaboxes and will it light it sufficiently? Also will the Quadra support my Mola Demi beauty dish?

if your beauty dish has an Elinchrom mount on the back then you can use the Quadra to Elinchrom adapter.

Sorry, it was filmed in the middle of a trade show and we didn't have a separate mic. We did use the Canon DM-100 on camera with a windscreen and in shotgun mode but it didn't quite cut it.

Why is the color balance on this video off?

It was filmed under very monochromatic lighting (some kind of vapor lights). Unfortunately, white balancing it now just makes it look black and white. Lesson learned. Next time we're in the NEC, we light propperly.

I wouldn't bother about the lighting setup. It is the great info you are giving to us which is important. This is not a lesson about proper video lighting nor the white balance correction. Thank you for your effort. Very well done!
