Question though. I noticed that you had a brush from Paint Shop Pro ON the video. How did you do that?

I saved the brushes onto a blank back background, pulled the picture into Vegas (my editing program) and set it on a track above the rest of my video. Then I set the compositing mode of the track to "lighten" and all of the black disappeared, leaving only the brushes ;)

Okay, so you see at the side, where it'll say the track number, etc.? There'll be a little green box which will either say "3d" or have a little squiggle. Click on that, and then choose the compositing mode you'd like. If you only get an option for "Multiply (Mask)" then you've got Vegas Movie Studio, which doesn't have everything that the full version of Vegas has, and that is the only compositing mode you'll be able to use.

Wow! Really good video, one of the best I've seen. Good video quality, awsome effects and of course, awsome job with editing. I especially love the effect of small flashes of light to the beat of the music and the effect of flashes on Dean and Sam where one mouvement is in pieces (you know what I mean? Examples at 1:09 and 1:54)..wondering how you did it and what editing program you use :). I'd appreciate it. Anyways, all this to say three thumbs up for your vid. It's awsome!

I use Sony Vegas 7.0, and basically, I cut the clip, then cut ten or so frames out so it looked like it was just cutting from one part of the clip to the next, and then faded them together with the additive dissolve, which creates a flash, just not as hard as a white flash lol.
