Two ways of doing this really easily as a pacifist. Firstly pull all the undead back through the axe swing traps. Secondly pull the Ice troll you meet just before the last part of the dungeon and let him kill every thing. Then either pull him back to the axes or just run like hell the other way.

You can't really play a 100% pacifist since a lot of the quests involve killing.If you want to do this try something with a more RPG tone to it and less action, such as Morrowind.

Or, you could actually be a 100% hippie and use a mercenary to do the killings instead, while you heal him.

I'd put everything into Health (for staying alive longer against multiple opponents and not being able to fight back) and Magicka (for healing yourself/casting support spells) and get the Lord stone (gives you a constant +50 armor rating and 25% resistance to magicka).

That's what is bad about this game, Oblivion (probably more Elder Scrolls) and Fallout 3. They say you can do anything but most of the skills are about killing people or are just kind of side things. Most of these games are focused on combat and killing with no intended way of getting through them without killing, especially when most of the quest MAKE you kill someone. I think I heard that in the original Fallout games you could get through it with just using whatever kind of skill you wanted.

@KedViper Meh, Fallout was about survival, they wanted you to kill people. But yeah, since Morrowind, Elder Scrolls games have become action RPGs, a la Zelda. That's where a lot of the disappointment has come in, because the role-playing element is gone. The other letdown is that even with more freedom, you are still limited in your choices because of the direction they've taken by making this an action game.

ya robes aren't light armor, your shield may have been though -- if you are going to wear robes, learn the oakflesh spell and use that (alteration tree I believe), there is a perk that increases its potency when wearing cloth items instead of armor

@T2DarIantan your sheild counts as light armor so when you block with it, it also levels light armor. Robes don't have any armor class.
