so true...i am so tired of explaining to the er that except for trauma, angle closure and endophthalmitis, anything they see can be deferred to the morning. damn- when i was an intern in the er, i almost never called a consult in the middle of the night. id be too embarrassed.
Oh dear, I thought only Uk has this problem. Didn't realise States- same problem with doctors in ER not having a clue about eyes!
