I absolutely love your videos and I get inspired each time you post a new one! My favorite part of your videos isn't the product review aspect, it's the fact that I learn so much about how to compose music, produce and do sound design. Would you consider making some videos that are purely instructional that deal with various aspects of composing? I know there are scores of other viewers who would love to see you do this as well. Thanks for all the inspiration you've given me!
Sounds incredible. I've been thinking of getting some new brass to compliment my EWQLSO and was thinking Hollywood Brass before, but seeing this, I am seriously reconsidering. This library looks and sounds totally amazing.
As I mentioned in another comment - your videos are great and very valuable! Cinebrass seems to really go from soft to very aggressive (lacking the proper word) sounds as you use the mod wheel and I can't get the same effect with my EW Orchestra Gold brass. Maybe this is why I should by Cinebrass as well, or am I missing something? (Basically in EW either you pick an aggressive sounding articulation and the expression CC will just control the loudness of the articulation and not blend between)
Hey Daniel, Great video. I was curious as to which screen capture recorder you use to make these videos as well as whether or not you could do a video of just composing something on the fly and show viewers the process. Again, awesome video and do more like these. Thanks.
Once again, GREAT music Daniel! Love the rhythmic elements in your compositions and your sense of timing. I try and listen for all your underlying ostinato patterns throughout your music, which give your cues a real sense of urgency. Like you say, it's all about layering the background, mid-ground and fore-ground levels.
At 1:15, is that a cluster string glissando from Symphobia? Thanks for all the videos and helping me decide which software to purchase. Symphobia and Cinesamples!
Hi Daniel, thank you for the awesome video and like your talking way in those videos, so nice. I'm always your big fan :) and always learned so much from your videos. Very helpful. Hope you will talk more about drums and percussions hits, like very much.
The "Environment" the Brass are recorded in is AWESOME!!! Do you know if IR impulses of that location are available for sale to use in Convolution Reverbs?
@organix69 I'm still learning Cubase, I always work with new libraries in Live so that I can tell the difference between the library messing up and Live messing up if something goes wrong
@Demon1aq While most patches sound great by themselves, occasionally when you are layering parts you are boosting some frequencies which after a while can become harsh, I jsut trim them back to normal levels.
Love the Dogs of War in there! I am seriously considering getting this library too, when I get the chance. Debating though. I just got VSL SE, and wonder if I should get their Epic Horns, and their Fanfare Trumpets, or go Cinebrass . . . ah the debate begins.
got Cinebrass Pro mainly because of this video. It's so much fun to work with.
