I wouldn't call it fire bending. The gem on his forehead allows him to control explosive energy. It's curious, though, that the gem is on his forehead, and that's where his power comes from. I wonder if he might have somehow unlocked his light chacra

i hope so but Aang already knows how to do Airbending and all the other Airbenders are dead unless some did suervive i saw on one sit some card pictures of some new Chracters who wern't in the show but the creaters might just put them in one was a Airbender i forget his name though

I don't know, but what if... what if the air benders really DID survive? What if they are just hiding like Aang first thought in the chapter called "The Southern Air Temple" because the don't look for a fight and pretty much tried to stay out of the war.

Tru they might have and also one thing Puzzles me how did the Fire nation get all the way up to the Airtemples anyway Aang said in the Southern Airtemple that the only way to get to the Airtemples was by Bision and we both know the Fire Nation deosn't have a Bison so how did they get to the Temples anyway

Maybe, just maybe there is another way up there. Do you remember in the episode, "The Northern Air Temple" when the fire nation invades? There were the machines that had chains they could launch to get up the cliff. I bet that the fire nation used those machines on the other three air temples too.

Wait... I think that I was wrong. Sky Bison can fly, right? And that's the only way to get there, through flight. But what about the dragons? They could fly just as much as they wanted. And Firelord Sozan said that he wiped out all of Air nomads. That was long before Tao's father came into the picture. Remember, Sozan had a dragon, so why couln't he fly there on his dragon just as easily as a Sky Bison could?

What's wrong with you? The earliest he could have created those weapons was the birth of his son, about 17 years ago from the modern day of Avatar(?), when he was first threatened by the Fire Nation. However, the Air Nation temples were destroyed 112 years ago. They used Meteorite power, not techonology power.
