Mauser, I can understand how angry you are, beleive me I DO understand, i'm 21 and have had tinnitus for about a year now(last march). And for the first month or two, i was completely unable to sleep, depression had set in I was ready to end it all there.

It WILL get better though, you will adapt to it, and you will find ways to learn to live with it. Sadly enough there's not many medical things they do can, unless yours is caused by a underlying cause. You really are lucky it's not something-

Tinnitus destroyed my life. Took over my sleep and I was no longer successful at school as a result... I am irritable, I don't think I'll make it to grad school...
