i just got a nice red 2.0 efi too great cars but im getting some serious rust coming under the arches :S which is a shame cus engine is only on 55k still goes though lol
They were all made in 1989, but some were not registered till later, so you see them on F, G and H registrations. One prototype and 504 others were made. They all have a Tickford build number.
I wanted one of these so badly (still do) back in the nineties, could never find a good one thought, they were all rotten and molested unfortunately, had to make do with a 2.0 EFI version, still quick... amazing cars
Do both, the digi dash works in the maestro turbo aswell but you need to fit the speed sensor onto the gearbox which replaces the cable and wire it in. The rest like the rev counter, temp, fuel, dash lights, will just plug in and work :D

I always thought the MG Maestros looked good. The Turbo was just plain evil. Brilliant car!

This Looks Like an early turbo model looking at the number plate.

No MG one had that wood, the owners got that off a vanden plas model as they have the same fitment.
