when have the government ever told crop circle invesigators not to investigate crop circles? you seem to be spouting some kind of disinformation. i've never heard of any government clampdown of this kind.
No circles researchers have ever been warned off. Some can be paranoid though but seriously I dont know of any attempts ever to thwart their research. they are allowed to spread any tripe they want.
one more thing...if a plant is bent down and then grows back towards the light, it doesn't straighten itself out at speed thus busting itself open; only the growing tip bends itself back towards the sun or light source. plants don't injure themselves in that way.
but hang on a minute, dry wheat/corn that is about ready to harvest wouldn't do that. only young green plants display such movement. and it takes days.
Plants pressed down the same night of creation are growing back up towards the light the same day. Considering plants can grow a near an inch or so a day in their spurt phase the are certainly capable of some movement. Linseed opens its flowers at about 11am in the morning, making the whole field go from green to blue. That is quite quick movement wouldnt you say?

Thanks for that. Nice to know someone thinks so. UFOs, wlel on that I am open minded. I have seen so much wierd stuff including UFOs in my life that I would not discount what people say. Albeit that people over react and sometimes think they have seen a UFO when they have seen a childs baloon over a city or aircraft lights. The better sightings and encounter stories are worthy of note. We know Governments have been questioning the subject for a long time. Perhaps they know even more.

The plant bends at its knuckle back towards the light. This is a well known effect. The knuckles do split open.
