  • vc deveria vir tocar aqui no Brasil!!!!!

  • Good guy

  • Okay, you´re no bluesMAN yet, but you´ll be one someday! You have the power and flexibility to be it. The right hand is good and the left hand rolls. And you play it by heart!

Sorry Mr. Willisohn: You stole that stuff from Jimmy Yancey!

  • @Eifelbboggie It is unfair to to accuse him of stealing, we all take from those that have gone before It is called being influenced. He is a very good musician and does not deserve accusations of plagarism

  • James Booker has got to have a big smile on his face! First one needs the talent...life's experiences will come at you soon enough...in the meantime, the rest of us can delight in your playing...thank you!

  • The blues it´s a hard way...But not sure ! Be yourself and that ´s all right!!! there ísn´t feel it {s down and out to be a great musician. Play with your soul and see the true way !Congratulations you ´re a good musician now.. In the time (when you grow up ) will be the best ! God bless you !!! :)

  • COOOOOL MAN! Keep going sounds great

  • Ooohh Yhea, boy !!!

  • Like your playing, and enjoyed it.

    regards from singer

  • He gots Orgasm..

  • where can i get the sheet music to this?

  • Real good question to come up. I had the same feeling: very very gifted young man indeed, but somehow a couriosity. Other very young musicians I could belief a lot of sadness, for instance a rembetiko-singer here in youtube. A sad music as well. Reggae got it. Even samba with its "saudade". Even Mozart.

  • You don't need nothing else. only go out, and show them what you can do.

  • Thumbs up for the motions :D

  • @puradesa that is true of all real musicians and music styles, not just blues. and it is one of the intrinsic qualities of music - catharsis - explicating itself through the passionate fingers of the true artist. beautiful :)

  • When I play blues, I just think of everything that I'd ever be sad about. Like the girl that rejected me when I asked her to my school's dance :)

Just so you know that teenagers can put their heart into their blues too :)

  • @TheCrazyDog1234 When you grow up, you'll know that's nothing.

  • Hi There. My name is Alex from Brazil. You are great kid. Please could you share with me some blues notations on line. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee. Alex.

  • Good Good but you gotta feel the pain of the Blues :)

  • i didnt know ron wesley played the piano, all jokes aside great stuff man (:

  • 16 individuals had their heads where the bluesdon't shine and hit the dis button. Morons.

  • Theres the soul of an old black man inside that little white boy

  • Here's some constructive criticism: You are a great piano player. You seem to play by instinct. But I've heard a lot of you music and it all sounds a like. You have to change it up.

  • I love your right hand, the left one is a bit simple for me, but nice ideas!

  • I can't sleep it's to good for my ears please ouch.

  • sssssshhhhhhhh...let me listen

  • sssssshhhhhhhh...let me listen

  • Blues is a Spirit Estat, with pain, or happy moment, but yes you must less the time to do what you are : A blues man but not yet, you discover what is really the blues later, the spirit !

  • Never heard bluse, but I love blues and I love this!!!!!! you are a real blues man anyway, and don´t care about the idiots that writes the shit!! Oh yeah!!!! Come on man

  • it sounds more like slow boogie woogie than bluse

  • wow. makes me want to drink beer while listening to this

  • Thanks for throwing your groove down for us to enjoy.

  • do you also play classical music?

  • Well, everybody seems to either really like or really dislike my comment. I meant no disrespect of Luka. I am myself a blues man. Played piano many years professionally, not gigging at the moment. Why do some of you think what I said is harsh? Emotional pain has a beauty, and a reward. Thank god for that, or we wouldn't even have the blues to enjoy. I imagine Luka himself is mature enough to appreciate my post.

  • Great job...you got it!

  • Also see Eric Watson The Peacocks.

  • Damn! He's very, very, very good. Amazing!

  • oh my... you're defo one of a kind. and i find you hot. O_O

  • I had an eargasm. No, im not a pedophile.

  • one word, beautiful :) good playing, makes me happy and confident :)

  • Puradesa is right in what he says. When you listen to the greatest of the great, they play with such subtleness and charisma that it doesn't matter about the licks and chords, but the emotion put into the playing. Also, this kid is young, so sure he can play well, but he does have yet to experience the hardships of life, to which blues originated from. Plus, if the kid can't take constructive critisism, he'll grow up a wanker. Anyway, great playing dude, all the best in your blues journey =]

  • Terrible amazing you play very well, I love to here you play and it makes me very happy, as a woman of 76, it makes my day every time I listen to you, thanks dear boy, Dinkie.

  • hey where can i get the sheet music for this?

  • WOW and only thirteen years old, man you got talent you will go a long way just keep on plying and don't give up.

    All the best

    dieter13

  • jr ur gonna be a star one day i dont play piano but would love to learn to go with instruments i do play but it like ur feel im not saying ur a sad kid but in general if more emos did that when they were feeling sad then i think everybody would strive to be called emo cuz ppl want to be acknowledged with class and dude that was class

  • puradesa why don't you just kick the kid in the nuts!!!!!!!

  • Straighten you back!

  • Nice work kid!!

  • Where i can get the sheet music?

  • Damn fine Yamha piano by the way! You know your rolls.

  • Great, can tell you really feel it. And I don't believe you have to have a shitty life to play good music, music is what you make it.

  • The point of my earlier post was this: A bluesman takes the pain and despair that comes to all men, and instead of becoming violent or suicidal takes it out on his instrument. He turns his feelings into a thing of beauty, that helps other men. Until one has suffered in this way, blues is academic. A great blues man is not the guy who plays the fastest, most innovative licks. What matters is your ability to strike a chord into the heart of your audience, and relieve them of their pain.

  • @puradesa So right, thanks. This is Jimmy Yancey put into words.

  • @puradesa Shut up man, I guess it took you like 20 minutes to write that lol. Just listen and stop talking about all that blues guy stuff please.

  • Any chance you can do a video explaining some of the right hand riffs?

  • If I was his teacher, I would scold him so hard! Nice piece, though.

  • nice piano, and nice playing

  • PLEASE tell me what kind of blues is this? where can i get sheets for that?

    greets

    m

  • @hardToSignUpHere you shouldnt need sheet music to play the blues.

  • @circusj3lly really? where do you recommend to start off?

  • @hardToSignUpHere use your ears man, its blues, learn some scales if you have to and get to it.

  • @circusj3lly yes i have to get to it! i guess scales are great, but sometimes when a beginner wants to play something non-trival, scales happen to be spectacularly helpful, if you know what i mean...

anyways i've got hold of Yancey Special notes - nothing like what they have on youtube. Same with How Long Blues, its just different when people play it… is that a conspiracy?!?

  • I've been playing blues piano for 40 years. You got what it takes kid. You're damn good, but your not a blues man yet. One of these days, your going to know what it's like to have your best friend sleep with your woman behind your back, or what it means to be abandoned; to lose your brother to drugs, or to have everything you believe in come crashing down. And when that day comes Luca, your going to go sit down at the piano and play it, and you'll be initiated. All the best to you my friend.

  • @puradesa - I have read the comments below and a bunch of krap, your spot on. "I have never heard bla bla" no experience. I have heard plenty of talent as this now live, life is your final teacher Luca. Fly into the highest clouds and let your tears fall as rain. Keep at it and Good Luck.

  • @puradesa see his other vids

  • @puradesa You sir, are a moron. Do you see him feel the music? This is a blues man.

  • @Dai3eb troll somewhere else. either that or you have never felt it, in which case i feel sorry for you.

  • Comment removed

  • @puradesa Yeah, right! You're not playing the Blues. You have to BE the Blues! And have experienced live iwith all its faces......And then you can joy live, playing the Blues!

  • @puradesa Oh god. that's not something to strive for. I think they are a little old fashioned shut them up with one of those first time getting dumped licks. Thats right shut up old people.

  • @puradesa he's 13 for crap's sake! don't curse him

  • @puradesa Shut up idiot! No one cares if this kid is a "blues man".

  • @puradesa how encouraging

  • @puradesa Music has saved me in one of my lowest times...its the best therapy! Thanks for the comment it was very inspirational!

  • @puradesa That was quite a comment lol. But I understand where you're coming from.

  • @puradesa sadness influences music, yes. but so does happeness. hell, cocaine even influences it. point is, don't make the kid subconsiously sabatoge his life just so he can live up to your definition of blues. that said, i know what you meant in your comment. but that kind of misfortune is best left to chance, not something to be looked forward to. by the way, you wrote this comment 5 months ago. so you're probably like "what is he talking about? cocaine? misfortune? where's my aricept?!

  • @puradesa

We that will no be true!

  • @puradesa

Did you have a nervous breakdown or something when you wrote that? Jeeze, please stop being that pessimistic. Just enjoy the music ;) It's what can heal any wound and what will let you drift away from any problem.

Even if it lasts for just a sec, you won't regret to have enjoyed the moment of freedom that the music grants to those who are able to listen ;)

  • @puradesa

You don't have to have a reason to play the blues. Music is just music!

  • @puradesa One day you're going to learn the difference between "your" and "you're."

  • @EvanTheBold Well, you know what they say about those guilty of pseudo intellectualism: If they can't attack the message, they'll attack the person. Or their grammar, etc etc.

  • @EvanTheBold It just looks like an 8th grader's writing with such mistakes. Your comment is an awkward mix of pretentious rhetoric and awkward grammar. It just doesn't seem professional.

  • Comment removed

  • @puradesa That's beautiful :')

  • @puradesa You forget that for many of us, blues is simply the sexiest music ever made, having nothing to do with pain or despair.

@MrAlex121995 hit the mark for me when he commented, "He gots Orgasm." He gives 'em, too. ;-> Watch Luca's body language on Hard Stage Blues, pure eroticism. That is much more appealing than someone feeling sorry for themselves over life's knocks. Luca is one sexy boy with tons of feeling; he's already a top-notch bluesman. :D

  • LA KAGASTE WN,.,.,., ERES SECO

  • great playing

  • This is one of my favorites, I could just sit back and listen for hours. Thanks old son, you make my day every time I hear you, which is now on a daily basis.

  • An acknowledgment to Jimmy Yancey (whose work this largely is) wouldn't come amiss. I notice, increasingly, that players like this who have simply copied records, are forgetting to thank the originators of their music...

  • wow bro keep on!

  • ★★★★★

  • Just wondeful, and I mean wonderful. The boy is fantastic. I just love his playing.

  • that was great
