I prefer to watch my stuff in english because I want to WATCH the anime and not READ the anime. their are a few that I've had to watch in japanese. like nhk. but I do prefer to watch em in english. unless the V.A. is horrible. like naruto. the english is HORRIBLE!
sometimes the english has to match the lip flaps and thus you get more exposition. and other times you get only a few words in english where you get a few sentences in japanese. I think it may depend on the animation.
The english is dub of Naruto is not terrible. They just take some time to get used to. The lips match, most of the voices match. With the exception of Asume everyone is in an okay voice.
Naruto might not be bad but the english dub of one piece to most true anima fans with a few exception is fucken horrible. It's almost as bad as the stuff that saban did beside power rangers.
I like in Japanese better... I am a woman that likes Bl yaoi/slash and a few anime.
