ine opion on the entry levlePan csmcorder was the picure ws not very good one must remeber it might be thebest but its the light that counts I had anentry livle sony some shots were very good some not sot its the light and even he time of day it came with a Demo DVD they do not mention any thing about light so I was sadified
Panasonc XD.Can you tell me where did you downloaded Manual.Cuzz i got this camera also today from a friend from germany.Also i didnt got the usb cable to transfer it to my computer.How can i connect it with computer?
P.S how do you delete the video that you made on it.
I have a Samsung Mini DV camcorder, I like the way the tape loads, it doesnt have that tray that comes out, mine is much more simpler so it wont get screwed up and suck open like that, but it did start to eat the tapes one time but I fixed that so now it works again, I need a fire wire so I can put it on the computer.
Wrong. The old Panasonic has better image quality than the new one, especially in low light situations. And the old Panasonic has tons of features the new one doesn't have.
I have the Panasony PV-DS15 mini DV camcorder, I like it much. Mne does have the SD slot, and a/v jacks, and it's stereo too. I sometimes get an error reset - but usually it works OK. I think you'll enjoy it.
I remember being blown away by a Canon MiniDV camcorder back in 2000, I thought it was amazing. An uncle had a Panasonic e.Cam camcorder in 2002, it also had an SD card slot for taking pictures, except I think his camcorder had a monocrome viewfinder. Does this camcorder have an SD card slot?
Very good audio and video quality! Plus there is almost no tape motor noise, which is nice. FireWire cables are very expensive in stores here too, so I bought one from amazon(.)com and it works just fine. Too bad about that Medion camcorder; Samsung products are not known for good reliability, however.
I also have a MiniDV camcorder, from Canon, model ZR-600. An excellent, portable and handy camera. Not too good for low light places, 'cuz it isn't a 3CCD device. But anyways, with a good amount of lights, it delivers GREAT image! MiniDV format is very good...
I have always loved MiniDv cameras, mostly because you can get the uncompressed and lossless quality you can get when you import it to your computer :D But it takes up hard drive space like you wouldn't believe
Did you actually use that for some videos?

@magnuswilen
I used this for most of my early 2010 videos.

@wafenn12
You can find the manual on Panasonic's web site.
There is no USB, for transferring videos to the computer you have to use a FireWire cable.
And to delete videos, you simply rewind the tape and record something over it :)

What was the camera you were using for the beginning of the video Borat?
Sorry I had to say Borat I'm just immature I guess.

@moviesunrated
Then stop being immature! I hate that!
The camcorder I used is a Panasonic SDR-S26.

@DrCassette
You get better quality with the Panasonic SDR-S26. Why do you want an older camcorder?

Daboy303 2 years ago
@Daboy303
You need a FireWire cable, to connect the camcorder to the computer.
DrCassette 2 years ago
@Daboy303
Then you can import the video from the camcorder using for example the video capture feature of Windows Movie Maker.

No, it doesn't have an SD card.
This is the model NV-DS28. The next better models, the NV-DS37 and the NV-DS-38 have SD card slots.

Yes, it's the second broken Samsung camcorder I had... and that was the last Samsung ever!
I solved the FireWire cable problem, I found one on Ebay for only 2,95€, I'm going to get that one.

wow it looks more like a VHS-C or HI8 than a mini DV camcorder.. oh wait it's the tape kind, I thought mini DV was mini DVD^^
Nice camcorder! that zero lux works just like the night vision scope I built.
