Sounds to me like hes using mastodons standard tuning. Down a whole step with the low E tuned down to A. AGCFAD low- high.Whoever is talking about drop Q, shut the fuck up.

This is totally inaccurate. This song is actually played in Drop Q with a scallop fretted double helix Scramtar. Also the solo is played with a Swedish notch maker while the sub woofer is underwater in a wooden box.

Please do your research before you (sloppily) cover a song.

@fatmanpez I palm mute right in front of the bridge. Every guitar is different also depends on how hard you pick. You don't want to choke the hell out of the strings. Just lightly rest your hand in front of the bridge. Hope that helps you out.

@dstaskev I found rolling off on the gain helped me out. You don't want it too gainy because you lose a lot of details in the picked parts. Need to get it to where you still have a nice heavy distortion but not over saturated.

Plus, if I am playing the same as tabs I sincerely doubt it's 100% because there are many ways to play each riff/solo and this is just my interpretation.
