From what I can make out I believe I have seen something very similar - me and a few friends were outside at night, we all saw it and tried to reason what it could be but couldnt explain it away. Moved in same way - erratic at times and then in straight line - it eventually shot off at what appeared to be amazing speed. I was with sceptics too but even they were not able to explain this. No aircraft or weather baloon etc moves in way this thing did. But what do ya do - just appreciate seen it...

First wan can be anything, prolly an airplane. Second was def. is a lens flare: it's moveentsd are exactly the opposite of that of the second streetlight.
