In the process of doing this right now. I've tried both. I like Tali. Mostly because she's awesome, but adding to it was Miranda's reaction to being dumped. Hopefully Miranda doesn't kill Tali in ME3. Hopefully Tali doesn't get sick. Both would suck. The latter isn't unlikely. But she's the better choice, hands down.

Fun fact: They were the two I used in the final battle. I was half expecting them to get into a cat fight. (Joke)

The last convo you have with Tali as Femshep is the 'are you blushing' one. Its such a shame they cut the rest. I really don't understand why they did.

I guess they got cold feet that people couldn't suddenly handle bi romances although it was sort of in ME1 and definitely in their Dragon Age games...but I guess they think it would have hurt any dudebros trying to get into the game. I find it quite funny that nearly all options in DA are bi (a game set in the past with dragon and knights running around with swords) and yet in a game like ME (set in the future with space guns and aliens) everyone is straight. I mean dating a guy who basically looks like a giant iguana (sorry garrus) is okay but dating someone of the same gender isnt? Just seems odd lol

I rather doubt Tali is "horrifying," because Bioware has a consistent history of making all romanceable squadmates at least somewhat attractive: Bastila and Carth in Knights of the Old Republic; Isabella, Merrill, Anders, and Fenris in Dragon Age 2, etc.

Bioware tends to not allow ugly characters to be romanced, so there is a strong "precedent" if not strong evidence that Tali will be beautiful under her helmet.
