  • As a person with a degree in geology and hydrology this is legit stuuf! Not highly likely during our lifetime, but it's gonna take someone out eventually!

  • I am so happy I live on the Western Coast of the United States!

  • I'm waiting for Yellowstone to go mega-BOOM!

  • ack! disaster porn. where's my filter!? and the 'sound track' is gay. I'm just sayin' is all...

  • Thanks for this. I love this series :-D

  • i wonder if this was how the gulf of mexico was formed.

  • Why do you think they added more than half of the Matrix's soundtrack behind this? I kept waiting to hear Wake Up by RATM.

  • Those who doubt the possibility of La Palma's west face violently sliding into the sea are clearly not researched in the geologic discipline. Underestimating mother nature's potential due to ignorance has, and "WILL" rob countless individuals of their lives.

  • fake and gay

  • @chadthomas889 so is your mom

  • FEAR BWAAHAHAHAHAAA

  • all i want is a corvette for christs sake, gimme that then tsunami my ass

  • D:

  • im gonna go make some ravioli

  • what about canada

  • @theabsol101 what about canada? if you're near coastline, just get above 100 feet up a hill... just go UP! up up up. don't worry about distance aways unless you got nowhere to go up. but it's canada, we got hills. just plan your route easily and do it at the drop of a hat when you feel the shake. carry a light survive pack with basics. there's a big support system here so don't worry too much about food running out and whatnot... we got helicopters to deliver. take care there! :O)

  • Well this must mean I better get out of Jersey...Well, Jersey sucks anyway. WISCONSIN HERE I COME! ;D

  • 20:52 looks like a giant monster evolving on the ocean floor. xD

  • watch deep impact something like that happen

  • I find these scenarios completely fascinating.

  • Interesting. I find it hard to believe that a wave could travel all the wat across the Atlantic without disapating most of its energy. Maybe I'm missing something. When the ocean floor moves in an earthquake there is a huge amount of land mass that is upset (10 m x 100m x 200 km or what not). A mountain face isn't that big and it has to cover the entire Atlantic! idk, im not a geologist, but I'm also watching a TV show, so... To see a mountain side disentigrate find a video Mount St Helens

  • -:o

  • Booooring .... bah! one of the worst documentary I have ever seen...

They don't have nothing to say ... nothing but fantasy theory .. but they took 45 minuts to tell it ... rubbish

  • @besasch16 - Sorry you didn't like it - but it was aimed at an intelligent, scientifically literate audience.

  • @SeryiVolk2009 ahahahah ...literate ... ahaah I'm graduate in Computer Science with full marks .... and so ?

It's terribly boring ... and not intresting at all ...

  • @besasch16 So no grammar taught at your University? Lucky you did CS then I guess.

  • Comment removed

  • @besasch16 just because you didn't like it doesn't mean it's not interesting you know. The world doesn't revolve around you.

  • @SeryiVolk2009 Fatti un po traudurre questo ... STRONZO:

"traudurre"?

    boh...

  • @besasch16 Dude are you kidding, fantasy? Look at what happened at Lituya Bay. That wasn't a fantasy but an actuality. If it happened then it could happen again. There was nothing at all of the 'fantasy' in this documentary!

  • Thanks for leaving out Nova Scotia >:(

  • This documentary is funny. cuz they say it happens every few thousand years LOL. Really? So when did the last "Mega" tsunami take place? Especially one that destroyed the entire east coast? BBC i love ur documentaries but once in a while u guys make untrue nd ridiculous Doc's! sheesh! i will nt waist my time on this, gonna go watch something else : )

  • @HelloWorld1947 only native americans lived there 1000 years ago so how would we know the only proof would be native american ledegends

  • @TheRunescapemaster1-Good question. so ppl can make statement w/o having evidence for it and that will be considered fact? How do u know the Native Americans were the only witnesses, did u ask them? Do they have records of this "Mega" tsunami on record?

  • @HelloWorld1947 no this is a theroy backed by solid evidence e.g the testing facility in sweden and no i havent met any native americans but have you plus the huge one was 1 millon years ago and thats past the human historiy life span (i think) but the last one was in the indian ocean

  • @TheRunescapemaster1 the last one was in hawaii, but it was relatively small. Guam survived with no tsunami because of the Marianas Trench

  • @HelloWorld1947 - If you watched the whole thing then you wouldn't look such an idiot.

  • Dude, you rock for posting this doco. Thanks!
