That was so beautiful that I had to watch it again...
Oh, by the way, my girlfriend is from an austrian family and the clothes this woman is using are very similar, not to say the same as austrian traditional clothes.
Michael is getting a great sound from his simple single reed (clarinet type) chanter. Does anyone know why the Northumbrian chanters use double (oboe type)reeds ?
I would say The NSP is more closely related to the French Baroque Musette/SSP type pipes than it is to Bock/Dudy/Duda central Europe type pipes, but dont be fooled: these single reed chanters can be just as persnickety as double reeded ones!
I can't stop watching this video. The song is great, the guy can sing and plays the pipes masterly, the girl also sings and dances very nicely and she is yummy to look at. Coming to think of it we Czechs have a lot to be proud of.

There's an intriguing theory by the Czech writer Mr. Frybort. He believes that most of our legends are probably inspired by the tales Irish missionaries brought to central Europe.

LMAO this guy in a traditional Czech costume is singing Czech with an American accent. No offense! It's nice you don't forget where you came from.
