I can't belive I never saw this special before. How absolutely delightfull. This is just the right messsage that should be spread around Christmas. Isn't that what Christmas is all about anyway? Thank you for uploading it and taking me back to my younger years. ;o)

it's all gotten too "high tech", these days. These shows were more like what you would see at a theater or play. It's a portion of television that is gone and I'm afraid won't be back. SAD, but this is a huge reason that I don't subscribe to any TV providers anymore. 150-200 channels of mindless clutter with rare exceptions!

In the space of just nine minutes Andy Williams and co. deliver everything: nostalgia, great music, and love that oozes from the screen; 1985 is indeed a year that deserves lamenting. I wonder if it was Bill Cosby's inability to sing that led to his otherwise inexplicable absence from the production?
