@pjproudify They swish their tails because they're happy and they foam at the mouth because they are accepting the bit, which gives a soft mouth, foaming is a very good thing, shows the horse is listening:)

dieser auftritt der beiden hat die silbermedaille verdient. jedoch muss man objektiv bleiben. die passagen und piaffen sind in ihrer elastizitaet grandios, auch der trab ist sehr gut. die schritt tour ist aber nicht gut, fast passartig zeitweise. zudem schlaegt sie nahezu in jeder lektion wahnsinnig mit dem schweif, was ein absolutes zeichen fuer verspannung ist. gerade piaffen dienen dazu dass sich das pferd aufrichtet und tragen kann. da waere mir eine gesunde haltung lieber als 'gehuepfe';)

@mrduje try riding a horse before you open your mouth. you'd be amazed at how hard it is. I haven't gotten bucked off yet, but i've come close many, many times. these horses- even the ones who are old or have had the best of training- can spook and throw a rider. one little mistake in a jumping competion has cost alot of people their lives. even though this is dressage, just one wrong move could make you loose the round

@blueroans4567 First she was injured during a competition, and they retired her to be a brood mare. When she was pregnant with her first foal, she had an accident while turned out and she broke her front leg at the knee. It was determined that there was no way to save her or her baby, and she was put down. Such a sad story. There has never been another horse like her.

This is the most beautiful dressage I have ever seen and I can not stop smiling when I am watching it. Matiné was such an amazing horse and her dead is a huge loss for the 'horse world'. It is so sad that we never get to see you do this again but this video reminds us of, how an amazing horse you were. This performance was the best and I believe that it will always be. Rest in peace Matiné!

@filthycollins By "Sport" I assume you mean Dressage? Dressage is derived from ancient war times, where horses were used as weapons themselves. They were called "Chargers". There were various attacks that the Chargers preformed to defend their riders and themselves from harm. Those attacks were then transformed into a sport for horse and rider. This sport is a Dance. Nothing more, nothing less. And it takes /years/ of hard training. This dance is of two hearts and two minds working as one.

455 people have NO clue what perfect dressage it! This is an amazing ride - the best passage yet to day! A perfect piaf with active hind legs, and not one time is the horse forced behind 90degree angle. You can see the horse is loving every moment of it! Its beautiful! @alyssaAPHA I was just reading through the comments and noticed your with WildStarPro. My horse is Lusitano/Canadian. There are Anglo Arabs (Arab/TB) there are many 'mixed breeds' but I have always heard horse people refer to the actual breeds - even when not sure you would say Welsh Cross or Arab Cross or Hunter 'Type', Welsh 'type'. Hope that helps.
