We have been called out of Christmas by the Lords leading and this year have looked into Hanukkah, a celebration that Jesus did celebrate (John 10v22 also called the feast of dedication or festival of lights) this has been our focus this year as we boycotted the commercialism & pagan symbolism & roots of Christmas. If you start a meal with a plate of poo it does not matter what you add to it it is still unpalatable to those who are aware that the poo is in there somewhere. We are blessed!
@screamerican56 barely any Christians think that Christ was actually born on Christmas. Many believe He was born sometime in the spring. Once again, it's just the day we set aside to remember. Not some big conspiracy like you make it sound.
Who gives a hoot if Christmas was once a pagan holiday. It's not a big secret. Now it's a day we set aside to remember Christ's birth; that's all that matters.
x-mas was stolen from winter solstice wich was originally Enki's Day ....guess who Enki is kids... He's the one that the bible has branded as the big scary bad guy
Christmas IS a retail holiday.Christ was never "in" Christmas. 12/25 was a pagan holiday until early religious leaders/Roman officials changed it to "honor" Christ.. Nowhere in the 4 Gospels does tell Christ followers to celebrate the birth of Christ/Christmas - Christ followers should focus on what Christ DIED for, spreading His word and reaching out to others -all the time. NOT fighting over parking spaces at the malls during the retail holiday season all in the name of Christ....
@LifesaGardenDigit1 So the early Roman officials had the plan to make Christmas a retail holiday? haha. Also, Christ's DEATH would mean NOTHING apart from the incarnation.
Few people realize that the origins of a form of Christmas was pagan & celebrated in Europe long before anyone there had heard of Jesus Christ. Jesus was never born on Christmas. this is the work of the christian church. look it up.,
