Cars can be made to run on water. There are many people posting videos on youtube of their cars running on 100% water. The car manufacturers wont touch HHO technology because they make so much money out of petroleum. Instead of robbing the poor with these insane carbon taxes they should just insist that car manufacturers make cars that run on water. CO2 problem would be solved over night. (If there even is a CO2 problem). Fact is they don't care. & it's THEIR problem not mine. Why should I pay?

The CO2 output people are WORRIED ABOUT is the UNNATURAL CO2 output (manmade, burning coal and other substances and sending the fumes up in the atmosphere), which increases every week, to every month, to every YEAR. The great thing about CO2 is that not only does it block & reflect the harmful UVa & UVb radiation that gives you skin cancer, it also promotes plant growth, increases forestation, increases crop-yields, help remove other polutants from the atmosphere, & as the increased vegetation photosynthesizes we get more OXYGEN for ourselves to breath, & less flooding

... I think you need a lesson in natural science. First of all, CO2 does NOT block sunlight. That's ozone (O3). Ozone is a naturally created gas when sunlight (or the UV-light) reacts with the earth's oxygen. The also natural gas CO2 BREAKS DOWN ozone. There's methane, nitrous oxide, sulfur hexaflouride, Dichlorodifluoromethane (or Freon), and flourine compounds like HFC (HydroFluoroCarbons) and CFC (ChloroFluoroCarbons). CO2 is just the tip of the iceberg, even if unnatural CO2 output is the prime offender of the greenhouse effect around the planet today.

While methane is a natural gas that's created naturally when bacteria is broken down in oxygen free conditions, like for example when cows digests food and burps, it also exists in outputs from coalmines, outputs from waste combustion, outputs from treatment of waste. And while the lifespan for it in the atmosphere is relatively short (10-15 years), glaciers have large amounts of methane encased within them and as it gets hotter and the glaciers melt, it starts to pour out.

Car manufacturers already know they could make cars run on water. The patents have been around since 1992. They deliberately make people use hydro-carbons. It's a physical and chemical *impossibility* to derive energy directly from water. In order to create energy, you need something that can "burn" - hydrogen has that property, but once hydrogen is broken down into its liquid form, water, it loses all its potential energy. And burning hydrogen in its pure gaseous form is fairly hazardous to your health--it will blow up in your face. Literally. Whoever says they've made their car run purely on water alone is a scammer.

And the "patents" you've seen are held by persons or companies who *claim* they've made a vehicle that can run purely on water alone, however at least three of them turned out to be fraudulent, one that used a pre-existing carburetter with electrolysis plates in the lower portion and float to maintain water level, which failed to introduce a new source of energy, and one that originally used water-fuelled and then changed it to Hydrogen fuel enhancement.

In other words, nothing that pinpoints that water-fuelled cars already exist on the market. Electric cars, and *ethanol* fuelled cars, are on the rise, though, and will probably continue to rise at the rate gas continues to rise. But here's the thing you need to know: carbon *di*oxide is worse for the environment, but carbon *mono*oxide is toxic to animal and plant life alike. So reducing combustion of fossil fuels not only benefits the *atmosphere*, but life on earth in general.

The effects of methane in the atmosphere as opposed to carbon dioxide is fairly low at the current stage, however the hotter it gets, the more methane will pour out. And the more methane pours out, the more thinner our ozone layer will become. The ozone layer does not get thicker as time goes on, only thinnerr. The fact that us humans have let out as much CO2 output (and other greenhouse gases) as two volcanic eruptions (maybe more) in the last 100 years is frightening.

If CO2 is a "greenhouse" gas that causes global warming by "trapping" the sun's energy, or light, in the atmosphere by reflecting the energy escaping from the Earth BACK down to the Earth, how the hell can it do that without also reflecting it away. The science is obviously bogus, it defies logic for a start.
