Ever since this codex I fell that I have never played against a swarm of any kind, I'm just fighting a bunch of beefy synapse creatures with preposterous special rules that don't make any sense from a rule book stand point.

the Tyranids are extremley formidable race in 40k im surprised that the tyranofex is overlooked so much.

yes and no, Monsterous creatures has become more expensive, though the small onces cheaper. Its quite a balanced list due to the expensive stuff, allready seen my own friends cry BROKEN at the codex.

But then again, if you powergame, yes ofc it willl be broken then, if your not and your friends are not, then new fun battles awaits!

i dont power game i am jsut geting back into warhammer i was just wondering if i got them after my space wolves convert army if i was going to get my ass handed to me every game thats all lol XD

well, the little things got cheaper (points wise) while the big things go more expensive. the fexes are roughly equivalent to a Russ points wise. the nids got new bugs like the trygon, and new instinctive behaviour rules.

you can still make competitive builds with the dex, just be prepared to spam termiguants and tervigons ;)

hehe i see damn now i want to get a tyranid army but i am already starting a space wolves beast themed army so they will have to wait till i get my first army to a decient size thanks for the info :D
