Happy to say I've been an Oregon Ducks fan for more than 50 years. DeAnthony Thomas brings even more speed to an already fast team, and he's still just a freshman! That means we have the opportunity to watch one of the quickest players in NCAA play for my all time favorite team.

Happy to say I've been an Oregon Ducks fan for more than 50 years. DeAnthony Thomas brings even more speed to an already fast team, and he's still just a freshman! That means we have the opportunity to watch one of the quickest players in NCAA play for my all time favorite team.
Life is grand!

@getyoasshome my points were 1 oregon is better then sc, 2 we are not on probation/wont be....Recruiting services run between 5-10k, SEC schools have reported buying multiple packages, some from up to 9 companies....do the math. oregon spent just under 70k in 2010....comparable to any school...Auburn paid 180k for the services of cam newton. i think oregon will be ok.

Oregon is a brave team and will play anytime whenever/wherever. SEC loves to stay close to home. Watching this video i really think Thomas can and will beat out Barner and Seastrunk for second string running back next year. @getyoasshome no actually oregon fans know we have a heads up on USC cause well lets see they havent beat us in how long? or oregon state. and now we are starting to take recruits from them and other big colleges. we might not have been something before but we are starting. Up until now we didnt get big recruits and still had a top 25 team in the nation for the last 10ish years, now we have top fledged recruits so its just a matter of time till we make our mark!!!!! @zkatz24 oregon isnt even in the ball park with the top schools around the country...you're light years away from teams like bama, florida, LSU, ohio state etc...teams dont just come out of no where? how would you know you have never won anything. in college football you have to win NOW not in 5 years...for all we know you might end up on probation or your coach might leave you dont know what is going to happen in 5 years. the teams i named have all won titles in the not too distant past.

@getyoasshome and besides as far as im concerned it matters about this year i dont give a ish what youve done it the past. players leave in one way or another so saying we didnt beat them 4 years ago doesnt matter USC is a different team and they arent anything now... and get you stuff straight they are on probation but have not lost their scholarships since they have appealed their probation. so in fact they are still on a level playing field. and i dont care 8-5 is far from a championship

@getyoasshome Tradition =/= Recent success and sending players to the NFL. If tradition was the main point then Notre Dame would be winning hands down and they're not. Like I stated previously for example, Florida's "Tradition" is about 20 years, hence their recent success. The selling point to recruits is: Can you get me to the NFL (Which ties into facilities and things of that nature.) and last I checked getting them into the NFL had little if anything to do w/ tradition.
