@RunAwayIove Your skin will go through a hardening process during the initial phases of treatment. Don't use the full dose if you're new to BP 2.5%, within a few weeks your skin should stop shedding and any redness will disappear. It's absolutely vital that you moisturize after each application, your skin needs to hydrate itself since BP dries it out considerably. Don't skip on moisturizing it's just as important as BP.
stop saying soap & water or diet its the cure. you guys know nothing about acne or suffering from acne without any improvements with lots of products. this works. soap will only make it worse. if it works for you, great.

@superads91 Yes it does have drying properties. BP oxygenates the skin which means bacteria cannot thrive, but at the same time if you use BP you must moisturize well to prevent the skin from drying out. I've been on the regime for just under a year and my face is completely clear.
There are other ways to get clear. Wai Diet, or an elimination diet starting with Wai and adding 1 food at a time.
Market moisturizers will only worsen the situation. They are a chemical cocktail that will only irritate your skin, plus most of them have vitE, than will fasten the shedding of your skin, which means the aging is also fasted.

Calories and acne are related but not specific foods. If you reduce your calorie count break outs will reduce temporarily.
Not entirely true. Search PubMed "acne milk" and you'll see lots of clinical studies proving that milk and diary cause acne.
Now, it hasn't been scientifically proved yet that cooked foods, salt and spices cause acne, but I believe it'll be only a matter of time. In Wai Diet we have nearly 100% clear rate, from the people who report in our forums.

this regimen is amaziing..at the beginning of the school year i started breaking out lk crazy and it went from a few to mild to moderate very quickly..i didnt want to leave the house..so i ordered the BP treatment and dans cleanser, got a cetaphil daily facial moisterizer..and ONLY 4 DAYS LATER literally 75% of my acne has cleared with only minor redness as a side effect. this is literally a life savior thank you so much dan everyone who struggles with acne needs to give this a shot
yo i need some advice, i have been using this regime and has been doign great, but how can the benzoyl peroxide dry up quicker cuz i waited like 40 min and my face still had the bp not fully sucked into my skin dry, and if i try using a moisturizer with spf 15 when its not fully dryed up it starts kinda burning, stinging, and redness, i need to know how to dry it up quicker, im using clean&clear 10%bp continous control, its like a dark pinkish kinda color

@JerkSession It's because you've just first started it mate. When I first started I was using the 2.5% alcoholic version, and my face and lips were very sore for the first month, but eventually your skin because more tolerant, and for the past 2 years I have been using 10%, and its very successful!
Is Benzoyl Peroxide kinda like Benazclin? I used Benazclin for my acne before and it worked really good, but I can't keep buyin it every 3 month cuz it is so expensive!!! And my acne comes back when im not on medication. Also do I need a prescription to get BP?
@nancyX28 Benazclin is a product; a brand name. Benzoyl peroxide is an ingredient. Not the name of a product. Chances are Benazclin contains benzoyl peroxide, and you only need a prescription to get very high levels of bp. But you really shouldn't use more than 2.5%, maybe even 5%.
This stuff did not work for me. My cyst acne got worst and it was bleaching my skin to bad..it starting to hurt. NOw I've quit with left over product. It's crazy to slather all those benzoyl peroxide on your face...so unhealthy...

@bryarworship yea, since Dan told us so in his new website. You may be still using old tube now. If you are using the old tube, use 2 pumps. If you are now using new tube, use 3 pumps ( in the box of new tube's shipment there should be a card that tells you to use 3 pumps). However, for me, I use 2 to 2.5 pumps because I think that's enough and this product really work! I'm 15 and I've already been on the regimen for about 2 weeks.

Hi, I had been on Accutane for four months of 2009 (started taking Accutane April to Aug of 2009) My skin was much smooth and clear. Nothing was spots on my face and body. Unfortunately, around Jan 2010, the acnes came back and I am still breaking outs. I just don't want to get Accutane again because it's too expensive and the acnes will come back again after stopping Accutane. Let me just make some things clear. I have a brownish skin tone and this does not whiten my skin. I reccomend you only use this if your dermatologist says so, or else something bad probably will happen. Remember, this is a chemical.
I used peroxide from the bottle (liquid form) and now the places where I applied it are lighter than the rest of my face. Some also dripped down my arm and now I have a big streak. I use 10% it takes awhile to start working. I have really oily skin. I use put the benzoyl peroxide on my face as soon as it gets oily or wait 20 minutes the most. i use face wipes in instead of washing my face to get the oily off. My skin is zit free.
I have heard people talk about Erybenz and stuff like that. People, Erybenz and benzoyl peroxide ARE TO ONLY TO BE USED IF A DOCTOR HAS INSTRUCTED YOU TOO. That's why you all get all swollen! I've been using 2.5 benzoyl peroxide for three days now. my face is red, irritated and swollen! I haven't quit yet because a lot of websites and people say the first few days they experience redness and irritaion but none has mentioned swelling. does this swelling mean I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide? the swollen areas have a lot of little bumps too! help anyone?
@alex1sage Swelling is never a good sign. Either you started out with too much bp too soon, or you are allergic to it. Discontinue the bp for now and if you want to retry it at a later date, just test a very tiny amount on one area and see if you still get the swelling. If you do, it sounds like you are allergic and you shouldn't use it.

@alex1sage Yes, thats how it works. You'll feel dry, and even red. It will def dry out your skin. But TRUST me it works. It will swell, the first time I used it my eyes got super swollen as if I was bitten by bee's. But that's how it works.

Make sure you rinse your face with plenty of cold water not warm or hot water.
Also avoid any spills on your clothes that will lead to de coloration BP will destroy your clothes.
I would apply it on my face in the morning after shaving and let it set for at least 2-3 minutes depending on your tolerance, as it could itch and burn, then jump in the shower to make sure you rinse it well. :) BP Works don't give up on it.
I've used this stuff for about a year now. It works for me, but he uses way too much in my opinion. I probably use less than half and it's perfect for my face, but whatever works for you.
I got a complaint about the bottling of the 8 oz. The cap where you pop open is realllllly loooose. The packaging had a hole in it, and i think like some dust might have gone into the bp. So if you can, get a cap that can snap shut. I know its for easy opening,but if you can, please do it. Thank you.

So lets see what he has to say to enforce the idea of buying the websites product instead of the one I mentioned in my last post just minutes ago. The SPF UV sun protection moisturizer and the two Aspirin technique is ten times cheaper and will last longer, and will be just as effective. (Be aware that the use of Salicylic Acid makes your skin 50% more suseptible to harmful UV rays from the sun, hence the need for the moisturizer afterwards).
@vjm3 Strange it didn't post while my second one did. To create a cheap but effective Salicylic Acid paste, take two uncoated Aspirin tablets and dissolve them in little water. You will get a paste that you can put on your face and use like regular Salicylic Acid products. Be careful out in the sun it makes your skin 50% more suseptible. Use a moisturizer with an SPF count in it to protect it. Cheaper then this guy's website's regiment demanding $35.00.

i started out wih one pump but then i said "f**k it il use to 2 pumps", ever since tmy skin is less itchy and less dry, it will obviously take some time to dry but it will lessen that dry itchy feeling.
BP bleached my fringe. it's a lighter shade than the rest of my hair. it works to control the acne, but i ruined so many of my shirts and plus i get even more oily skin with a moisturer or without! the feeling is terrible.
@lifprasir - Keep benzoyl peroxide away from your hair and your eyebrows. A few hairs on my eyebrows went ginger after using hydrogen peroxide, and my baby hair (the short hair on my forehead) turned bleach blonde and I am mousey brown! As long as you're careful, it's fine. It will make your skin a bit paler though this wears off.

@bryarworship yea, since Dan told us so in his new website. You may be still using old tube now. If you are using the old tube, use 2 pumps. If you are now using new tube, use 3 pumps ( in the box of new tube's shipment there should be a card that tells you to use 3 pumps). However, for me, I use 2 to 2.5 pumps because I think that's enough and this product really work! I'm 15 and I've already been on the regimen for about 2 weeks.

I have the cream in the tube and I think it has already helped after 4 days.
I use tea tree oil face wash, then pat try, then moisturize, and then apply my benzoyl peroxide on the chin and forehead where I get my spots!
Then bio oil on after the BP has dried is good too :)

Hi, I had been on Accutane for four months of 2009 (started taking Accutane April to Aug of 2009) My skin was much smooth and clear. Nothing was spots on my face and body. Unfortunately, around Jan 2010, the acnes came back and I am still breaking outs. I just don't want to get Accutane again because it's too expensive and the acnes will come back again after stopping Accutane. So I watched your video what to use BP and thought I should use it for a try. Where did you buy it? At the drug store?

This method seems to be one with fantastic relusts for a lot of people. Let me just make some things clear. I have a brownish skin tone and this does not whiten my skin. I reccomend you only use this if your dermatologist says so, or else something bad probably will happen. Remember, this is a chemical.

I used peroxide from the bottle (liquid form) and now the places where I applied it are lighter than the rest of my face. Some also dripped down my arm and now I have a big streak. It doesn't look horrible because it's not that noticable but Im still freaked out about it. When will this go away? I know they use this in acne creams so why is it bleaching my skin?

I use 10% it takes awhile to start working. I have really oily skin. I use put the benzoyl peroxide on my face as soon as it gets oily or wait 20 minutes the most. i use face wipes in instead of washing my face to get the oily off. My skin is zit free.

2/ apply bp and then wait 10 minutes
3/ apply moisturizer on top

I've been using 2.5 benzoyl peroxide for three days now. my face is red, irritated and swollen! I haven't quit yet because a lot of websites and people say the first few days they experience redness and irritaion but none has mentioned swelling. does this swelling mean I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide? the swollen areas have a lot of little bumps too! help anyone?

@alex1sage Swelling is never a good sign. Either you started out with too much bp too soon, or you are allergic to it. Discontinue the bp for now and if you want to retry it at a later date, just test a very tiny amount on one area and see if you still get the swelling. If you do, it sounds like you are allergic and you shouldn't use it.

@alex1sage Normally it's the bacteria in your pores causing the swollen spots.
Make sure you rinse your face with plenty of cold water not warm or hot water.
Also avoid any spills on your clothes that will lead to de coloration BP will destroy your clothes.
I would apply it on my face in the morning after shaving and let it set for at least 2-3 minutes depending on your tolerance, as it could itch and burn, then jump in the shower to make sure you rinse it well. :) BP Works don't give up on it.

I got a complaint about the bottling of the 8 oz. The cap where you pop open is realllllly loooose. The packaging had a hole in it, and i think like some dust might have gone into the bp. So if you can, get a cap that can snap shut. I know its for easy opening,but if you can, please do it. Thank you.

So lets see what he has to say to enforce the idea of buying the websites product instead of the one I mentioned in my last post just minutes ago. The SPF UV sun protection moisturizer and the two Aspirin technique is ten times cheaper and will last longer, and will be just as effective. (Be aware that the use of Salicylic Acid makes your skin 50% more suseptible to harmful UV rays from the sun, hence the need for the moisturizer afterwards).

@vjm3 Strange it didn't post while my second one did. To create a cheap but effective Salicylic Acid paste, take two uncoated Aspirin tablets and dissolve them in little water. You will get a paste that you can put on your face and use like regular Salicylic Acid products. Be careful out in the sun it makes your skin 50% more suseptible. Use a moisturizer with an SPF count in it to protect it. Cheaper then this guy's website's regiment demanding $35.00.

BP bleached my fringe. it's a lighter shade than the rest of my hair. it works to control the acne, but i ruined so many of my shirts and plus i get even more oily skin with a moisturer or without! the feeling is terrible.

@lifprasir It may. We don't get many complaints about hair bleaching, but it is always a possibility with benzoyl peroxide.

@lifprasir - Keep benzoyl peroxide away from your hair and your eyebrows. A few hairs on my eyebrows went ginger after using hydrogen peroxide, and my baby hair (the short hair on my forehead) turned bleach blonde and I am mousey brown! As long as you're careful, it's fine. It will make your skin a bit paler though this wears off.

I started using benzoyl peroxide recently. I have mild acne and extremely oily skin thats sensitive aswell. Im using 5% benzoyl peroxide in an alcoholic gel once a day for now because my skin is slightly itchy and dry. Im hoping the results are good in a few weeks....
