  • I was in High School when my Grandpa sold this new. We bought it back and restored it a couple of years ago. It got better as the year went on and my trophy shelf is getting full. We just love it.

  • my 830 will beat your 720... nah just kiddin... its old and hasnt been restored... absolutely love drivin it though... love the old twin cylinder john deeres... did the 720 come with twin stacks or did you put that on there

  • The twin stacks were of course added. We also restored a B.

  • thats what i figured... awsome work.. how long did the restoration take?

  • We worked part time for the better part of eight months. It was basically a frame up.

  • Very handsome 720! We had two on LP gas in the 1970s. Did you have water or calcium chloride in the tires? How much does your tractor weigh? Your tractor looks great!

  • We have no ballast in the tires. We pull in the 8650# class. Thanks for the nice words.

  • Yes. Our club allows large tires in the 8650# class and up. There is one puller in our club that has 20.8-38s on a 720. I just won my class Saturday against him!

  • Good looking 720. Are you running 18.4X38 on the rears?

  • nice!
