In the 70s and 80s I flew out of KBUR as well as KVNY as a private pilot. The big jets almost always use runway 8 for landing and 15 for takeoffs these days but I remember the big jets using runway 15 for landings in those days. With a northerly wind like we are getting today both takeoffs and landings at KBUR will use runway 33.

@mrcaptaincj Runway 15-33 is the long runway and is almost 6,900 feet long and runway 8-26 is only about 5,800 feet long.
