The best chain I ever did was 11 and it was on exercise mode, I tried to get a higher one and was just one purple bean away from 12, on exercise of course.

i made a combination like that before but i did'nt know what i was doing i was just stacking beans i was trying to do a single combo i was looking for a yellow it didn't come so i placed that red with another stack of 3 reds then it broke then another then another until i did like 8 of them then i was like wow

5 moves, or 4 yippees/yeehaas. Then every other combo after that is a kaboom. So in this case it was 9 moves.

I tend not to do big combos like this all the time because the AI player always manages to sneak a bubble in the wrong spot. :P
