  • Good stuff my man!

  • Great job.

  • This kid is amazing. How does his videos not have more views?!

  • you are one badass kid.

  • the best catalog of games: mega man X, street fighter II, Contra III, Super Double Dragon, TMNT IV, Donkey Kong Country 2, Capcom Shootout, Gradius III, axelay,Darius Force, Aero fighters,Super Mario World,Top gear, Capcom Shootout, Super soccer II, U.N Squadron, Mortal kombat II, Final Fight, Zombies ate my neighbors,Killer Instinct, Super Mario Kart, Joe & Mac, Super Battletoads, Biker Mice frm mars, Star wars, Super Punch Out, Mega man (classic)....and much more games xD

  • Hey, you are a mature kid, especially in these times. Keep on going. Always be yourself and do not allow yourself to change no matter what others think or say. Nice review.

  • one more thing that's pretty cool about the gamesaver, you can play Super Famicom games on it. of course, they'll be in Japanese, but it's good for those that weren't released outside of Japan.

  • Great choice for a first classic console.

  • Mature kid.

  • Impressive vocabulary! Kept me entertained, good work

  • I wish my brother was as cool as you.

  • I'm so impressed by you, keep doing what you're doing.

  • Try using a bit of OxyClean (I get the walmart brand) and water to clean up the yellowed console. It worked really well for my old stuff!

  • You're a cool kid, don't change.

  • Wow, never heard of that device around 4:40. That's really cool.

Nice video, the Spawn game sounds pretty neat.

  • @AsKo25

No, Spawn on SNES is awful. It's absolute shit. The only good Spawn game is the arcade deathmatch game that was ported on to Dreamcast. Very fun, and a fuckton of characters from the comics are unlockable.

  • awesome dude made me think back to when I first got the SNES

good times, still working with no yellowing!

  • smart kid

  • Kid, you're awesome.

  • Not all kids appreciate games like this. We need more kids like you. Thumbs up, lil' bro.

  • Hey kid. I wish there were more kids like you in my school.

  • get the hell off 4chan, kid.

  • retro, I remember when it was brand new and everyone wanted one

  • Are you from Israel? Or where?

  • Oh man! I had that same controller you showed at 3:12 . The thing was awesome, especially when playing U.N. Squadron.

It's cool as hell seeing kids from your generation showing an interest in the older generation consoles. Not only that, but you gave a pretty good review of the console and the games you played! I could make a few suggestions for ya if you like:

U.N. Squadron, a REALLY good shmup

    Starfox another really good shmup

Secret of Mana, a 3 player RPG by Squaresoft

    More in next post

  • Nice to see a kid talking about the Snes instead of Cawla Doody. This actually gives me hope.

  • Hey you almost said Ys right, impressive as most people mangle it. Also only Ys I, II and Origin are directly related outside of Adol so you can play pretty much any Ys game without spoiling the rest. Even Adol's sidekick in 3 and the games after was only a minor character in I and II. If you have a PSP and Like Ys III try out Oath in Felghana, it's a remake and widely considered either the best or 2nd best Ys game next to Ys Seven.

  • Great video, you're a good guy, will definitely be subscribing.

  • cool video

  • Retro? What the fuck?

  • @KJPDude Yes, I don't know if you're aware but the SNES is about 20 years old now. Pretty sure that qualifies as retro. (Born in '89 btw)

  • Nice review

  • brofist

  • The extension port on the bottom was used for the Super Nintendo Floppy Expansion Drive.

  • I wish my brother was more like you. I'm very impressed. The SNES is my favorite console.

  • Excellent video, never had a SNES myself however. Subscribed!

  • whats the name of that game saver thing? i never seen/herd of it before. only thing i can think of was that backup maker that used floppy discs.

  • watch this kid! he is awesome, you should be sad if your little brother isnt anything like him, hes talking about vidya like this, and hes like(sorry if im wrong) 12!keep on doing what your doing bro, great vid.

  • You're all right, Cybernator.

  • Great video.

  • You're a good kid, egg.

  • It never amazes me how dull and rough the US Snes looks like compared to the PAL European and Japanese ones. Instead of being a big grey box, they were much more softer in shape and more colors in buttons.

Anyway, excellent personal review! You got many excellent classics waiting for you, if you can get 'em that is. Glad to see younger generations getting interested in the older consoles were oldies grew up with. :)

Btw, how old are you, if I may ask?

  • The SNES is an amazing console. Very cool to see a younger gamer checking out older systems. :D

  • Hey kid, loving the video - nice to see younger people getting into some of the stuff I grew up with. I highly reccomend zombies ate my neighbours, Super Mario World, Harvest Moon, Zelda - A Link to the past and super metroid. They're all awesome games. Have fun with that beauty bro.

  • Keep up the good work!

  • Ugh! I have Ultraman for SNES, my Dad gave it to me for Christmas once. I couldn't figure out how to beat any of the enemies until years later when I found out you had to hit Select and choose the most powerful attack to finish them off. My Dad also gave me Superman 64 for Christmas years later.

  • SNES was such a great console. I would recommend picking up these games if you find them:

The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past

Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars

Super Mario Bros. 3 (included on Super Mario All-Stars)

    Yoshi's Island

    Gradius III

  • awesome you gotta get Megaman X though

  • That SNES has yellowed pretty badly. Unfortunately a common problem with the SNES.

How did you get interested in retro gaming?

  • awesome review! now are you gonna show us those games one by one? :D

  • SNES is a great one to start with. It's great that the SNES, N64 and Gamecube all use the same AV cables. I really dig your intro song with Bubble Bobble. Ooh I love the Ascii pad you have there. That brings back memories. Sh'mup sounds really strange when pronounced out loud, I prefer shooter or shoot-em-ups.

  • Ys is pronounced EE-C

  • nice, now im sad could my SNES is broken :(

  • Oh one thing regarding your Ys III: If you play it it will not ruin the rest of the games for you. It's a side story that does not follow the plot of the other games.

Also, while it is a good game. I would recommend the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version (Or PC Engine even) over the SNES one.

  • @Tamanozke i dont know if you listend, but for now the snes is my only retro consoles

  • @cybernator5000 It's cool if it's your only retro system, but you can play the genesis game on the emulator, like you did with the arcade games on MAME.

  • @nardoboom i dont feel right using an emulator for anything but arcade. thats becuse getting actual arcade games in cabnit is much much much more expensive then buying a genesis and games.

  • Awesome!

You have stuff I never even knew about! Holy smokes!

  • Keep on rockin', little man.

  • WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN CYBERNATOR5000?

    NICE REVIEW TOO, BRO

  • HOLY CRAP YOU ARE BACK!
