  • To jowox .... Yes Jememy hit a double high "C" on "Beautiful Home" when with the Kingsmen. I know because he told me so a few years back. This kid is becoming my all time favorite tenor. I too wish he was with the Kingsmen.

  • Did Tim Rackley used to sing lead for someone else?

  • I believe Tim sang tenor for the Rowlands before he and Doug started The Old Paths. And Doug sang baritone for them.

  • Jeremy - One of, if not THE, best renditions I've ever heard of this song - period. Great job, brother. God bless!

  • I personally think the best I've ever heard was on a live recording by the Kingsmen, Garry Sheppard was singing tenor. Very spiritual.

  • Michael Booth's is my favorite hands down. But Jeremy is also really good at it. :)

  • This guy Jeremy is AWESOME, this group has a bright future!!!!!!!!!

  • that Brandon Barry is a good young bass singer, a good guy, he's from my church...

  • Wow! They need to use a band more often....like all the time. I'd play drums for them anytime.

  • I didn't know that The old paths had a band. it's Good to hear that Jeremy is still singing this song. He's one of the best. I still wish he was with The Kingsmen, even though I know Harold is doing a good job with them.

  • The Old Paths occasionally use a band but usually have just a pianist.

  • great tenor! he sings high E-flats at 2.00 and it sounds good. nice high F at the end. there is a rumour of a soprano high C by this guy, I believe it!

  • Personally, I think Jeremy Peace and Garry Shepherd (Mississippi Live) sing the song w/ more power and meaning than anyone. Garry was the one who sang it w/ purpose and understanding the meaning of the song. Not to mention Jerry Martin does a wonderful job.

Not to take anything away from Parrack or Booth Brothers, but the emphasizes of what the song means just doesn't do it for me.

  • Great song. Best was by Johnny Parrack and The Kingsmen, and The Booth Brothers
